Title: What is the correct etiquette, when discussing a new coin ?
Post by: darkshot on February 08, 2018, 11:39:20 AM

 Hello World,

This is my first post, here on Bitcointalk; I signed up with the intention to
promote our coin launch which will be happening soon, however I also wish
to build relationships with others in this space; so coming off as 'spammy' is
the last thing I need, and the last thing anyone who has been here for
a while wants to see.

So, with that said ...

What is the correct etiquette for posting on this forum, regarding a new coin ?

Of course , I believe our coin has something different to offer, something so special,
that people would be crazy not to focus their attention on us.

But the reality is, this space very crowded and I would not be wasting my time
doing this, unless I really did think there was a substantial amount of merit
behind our product.

So, that's my hello, and initial question.

Ashot,
Sydney - Australia.

If your team is genuie people will still ask you silly questions and even call you names, what will proven that your team ia real is the was you respond to their questions, but need to aware that some people are just troll and you need to be able to spot that too

You can just make a thread in the Announcements (Altcoins) section, you can decide for yourself how detailed you want to make it.
Here's a link to that board:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0

You can also bump your thread every 24 hours, any more than that will be regarded as spam.
This doesn't mean you can't answer questions of course, just not bumping for the sake of bumping.

You can use this board for specific discussion about the coin, anything that doesn't fit into the announcement board.
Just try to put some effort in your posts and you'll be fine, good that you ask these questions before posting!

Thanks for that answer..

So just go ahead a post something, and I should be inside the
boundaries of what is considered acceptable..

Ok, so let's try that. .

Maybe, someone will read it..
