Title: Fiction promoting bitcoin
Post by: halfawake on September 08, 2013, 11:36:12 PM
I just thought I'd give a plug to Katrina's project on Bitcoinstarter (https://bitcoinstarter.com/projects/160).  It's an fictional story that is also a way to promote bitcoin - and I think education about bitcoin is something that's sorely needed these days.

Interesting idea, but is there any demand for it?

Good question.  It looks like she's trying more to educate people with her stories than to make money off it.  At least that's what appears to be going on, after all, she's giving away the story on her website (http://www.faeriedark.com/the-world/white-city/).

Oh, in case anyone is curious more about this project, I just discovered this interview (http://bitcoinmagazine.com/6710/an-interview-with-author-katrina-elisse-caudle-of-faeriedark-com/) with the author of this project.
