Title: ICO vs Launched coins?
Post by: Naitik on February 08, 2018, 05:44:39 PM
ICO coins have the advantage on getting bonus of the coins, on the other hand launched coins give us the market behavior of the coin in the market.
What will be your choice if you have only one to pick?
And on what circumstances?
Progressing crypto world, what will be your choice for the future for the long term investment?

actually investing in an ICO  can make a huge profit and now I choose DANEEL as my next long-term investment DANEEL is To design the first intelligent personal assistant who can accompany you in the daily management of cryptocurrency. This is not  a  simple  programme  this help to provide solution for the  problems that nowadays  investors are facing  so  this project have massive  future  i believe, THe important thing is IBM company partnered with DANEEL

Well, it depends a lot on the market condition. Now we have really bearish market, price of the ICOs are usually fixed, so in my opinion now is better time to invest in some coins with good team, realistic roadmap and low marketcap, because when the market comes to normal values and gets bullish, you will have nice 2-3x profit and still a good coin in your wallet.

Simply said: ICO is more risky with more possible reward. But on bearish market I prefer actual coins.

You would always have to choose and compromise on both.. ICOs are risky but they have higher ROI. Coins know exchange you could be assured might not dissappear with your funds and you could make some decent returns..

So summarily.. Try both..

To increase your total portfolio you could also get into bounties and airdrops.. By the end of the year,  you would be holding some good amount of money.

Personally i wait for the tokens to list on the exchange and then purchase, but if the project is really good and fits my personal needs and goals then i jump in ico as well, getting in ico does offer bright chances of big profit if the project is good.

This is good analysis. You are right that ico is risky since we do not know if they will really deliver, but you have to consider that there are risk also in launched coins since we really never know if we can get what we are expecting with the value they say they have. The good thing in launched coins is that you have your coin with you as compared to ico wherein they could be a fraud and just runaway with your money.

I think it's a good option for coins you really believe in to join from the pre-sale , or at the beggining of the ICO so you can receive the biggest discount or bonus coins.

Currently I prefer to participate in ICOs. But it's pretty hard to participate at any highly demanded ICO project due to hype, low hard cap and dozens of thousands of people which are also want to get in. The last ICO where I didn't be in time is ArcBlock... It's pity so I forced to trade alts atm.

It would be very easy if we could decide what ICOs to invest in a day before they were due to go live. I'm sure there must be some people who register for all whitelists and then only participate in the ICOs that have a huge hype, you can almost guarantee a profit with such a strategy I just don't know if it's a worthwhile investment of time.
