Title: Add a poll to an existing thread?
Post by: Severos on February 09, 2018, 08:29:34 AM
I have this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2876130.0  that I've found that I'd like to add a poll to it, however I can't seem to find the way to do it.
Is it possible to add a poll? or I'll have to start a new topic with a poll?? because I really don't want to have 2 threads going for the same thing.

No, I don't believe so. An admin may be able to do it though. If you create a new poll I should be able to merge the threads together if you want to try that.

Can you also like merge the numerous threads on how users are unhappy about the merit system, how it has ruined their "lives", the "demerits" of the merit system and so on...?

I just did a basic test in the Marketplace section. In the bottom-right of the thread, you have the thread edit options. There should be an option called "add poll" to it. Once you do, a poll will be created at the top of the thread.
Lock please. /thread

Oh thanks, seems like I was looking in the wrong place, I tried to edit the main post and didn't find the 'add poll' option, didn't know there's another place for it.

Thanks for the answer and will to help, but guess it's fixed now :D
