Title: The simplest way to keep track of my portfolio, average coin prices etc?
Post by: lecomputer on February 09, 2018, 11:17:44 AM
Hi everyone

I am trying to find the right app/website for my needs. I am mostly a buy and holder, but I do buy in small amounts quite often, so I often have multiple buys at different amounts and different prices. then of course I want to know the average price I paid, so I know when is a good time to sell, if I'm in profit or not etc.

I also would like something I can use from anywhere, so with a login using email. Blockfolio is ok, but if I lose my phone its gone.

I am looking for something that is free, can be backed up, preferably used on a phone or desktop

Any ideas?

Thanks

I'm testing a new app named bitsnapp. It's available in the play store, not sure if it's available on Iphone.

It uses API's so you don't have to manually enter all your transactions. The ability to back up your app is still under construction.

More info can be found on this site:

Thanks. I will look, but I was really hoping for something relatively well established, something that lots of people use :)

Blockfolio is most popular Apps for that. So many coins and markets integrated and simple application. And most importantly its free :)

I´m using also Blockfolio. Before i was using Crypto Tracker, and Coin Portfolio. Free to use in the PlayStore. I have chosen Blockfolio because they are listing PCL.

Check out Delta (https://getdelta.io/), strong competitor for Blockfolio, they also allow backups and syncing between devices which seems to be an important feature for you!

Friends, please read the thread before you respond!

The OP specifically stated in his post that he's looking for options other than Blockfolio.

Blockfolio is ok, but if I lose my phone its gone.

To lecomputer, are you sure that if you get a new phone, reload the app, and log in with your PIN that Blockfolio won't recall your information?

I've been using https://www.cryptocompare.com for the past months. It suits me because I can create multiple portfolios and see them in different currencies. Another advantage is that I can acces it from both pc and phone.

I'm also using Cryptocompare, their service satisfy my basic needs. I also like that they allow to create multiple portfolios, it helps my to track my coins on different exchanges. It's a website, not an app, so you can access it from your PC, tablet or smartphone. If you are looking for a free tracking tool, I think that Cryptocompare is good enough.

This. i've ditched blockfolio and have started using delta and bitrift, i must say i'm impressed with both the apps. i also have spreadsheet as an alternative for desktop, though price aren't updated in real-time(price updates every 20 mins or so). it's not a problem to me, i don't check my portfolio on desktop often.

What is the best coins you choose bro can share that too? I always go with the coinmarketcap and do the research about the best invest coins and go with that is my policy.
However, cryptocompare is also a one of the best site who want to make best porfolio for them.
I would take your suggestion along with that I need the information what are all the coins chosen.

For me, blockfolio is the suitable one that i have been using but there are lots of nice and good apps out there like, cryptocompare or cointracking, but i'm so used up of using blockfolio since i was started to do the trading and investing some altcoins. These apps are available at the playstore you can check them if you like.
