Title: Is this good performance for 1080ti on zcash?

Hello guys, Im running 8 x 1080ti (7 x Palit Gamerock +1 x Gigabyte Aorus Xtreme) cards on ethos, mining zcash with DSTM miner. Just started mining few days ago, would like to check if I`m getting best performance from my cards? I`m not after max hashrate, but good balance between performance and power consumption. There is no bminer in ethos, only sgminer, claymore, ewbf, dstm, optiminer. Your numbers are fantastic! Not sure what different settings I can try to achieve more?

I have +140 core, +500 memory, 220W limit.

What cards do you have? Memory does very very little for zcash mining.

Most of my cards are EVGA. I do see a noticeable difference with memory.

Just tried +500 mem and 220w power limit. I do get little bit more hashes, but sol/w goes down. https://i.imgur.com/NcdvKVq.jpg2045w from wall On 0 mem and 200w power limit, it pulls 1850w from wall. I`m miles away from your great numbers.

Reducing power limit does affect the core voltage. I don't think you can see voltage numbers using nvidia-smi in Linux but with Windows software you can see how many mV is being used before and after changing the power limit.

I have 3/4 sort of cards but mainly Gigabyte 1080 Ti Gaming OC 11G (11) 5 palit jetstream, and 2 msi armor

NameTaken, what is exact model of your cards? Your core clock must be near 2000mhz if you are getting such a high sol/s. Otherwise I cannot imagine how you would get those numbers :o

i think I know what is the reason with your low hashrate
have you turned off P2 state for your nvidia cards?
cause if you have not then they will not give you maximum performance
though I do not know how to turn it off in your OS, if will work on windows then just use nvidia inspector
