The Cash App was pretty quiet about the announcement, simply releasing a tweet that showed their logo changing into the Bitcoin logo, and then changing their profile photo to reflect Bitcoin rather than their Cash App logo but when you go the the App Store on your iPhone and go to updates you can click on the 'Wahrs new' link next to the Cash App to see the announcement: "Introducing Bitcoin. Buy and Sell BTC instantly from your Cash App balance." This adds to the already existing apps that support cash buys of bitcoin like Coinbase. |
