Title: hardware help needed by newbie
Post by: iammak on September 10, 2013, 04:38:01 PM
hello everyone!
i am new here. just registered.
i am thinking of building a bitmining rig with intel atom D2500 motherboards.

2 cores/4 threads 1.86Ghz per core. 64bit linux, 2-4GB ram per board.

i found one guy "pyramining" who uses this setup i think.

i just want to ask how much Mhashes can each board make per month or per day?
i dont expect much. i just need to know the approximate value so i can continue building the setup.

thanks in advance :)

If you want to mine bitcoins, the only way to make it economical is to buy ASICs.  However, if you want to mine alt coins, a GPU rig is a good choice.

CPUs are not economical in the least anymore and will always fall short of the performance of ASICs or GPUs.
