Title: What is Stake? How is it calculated? [Detailed Explanation]
Post by: BitcoinTurk on February 11, 2018, 12:38:02 PM
What is Stake?

Stake is a type of unit used in signature campaigns, aimed at equality between users. You can think of this unit as a stock. Users can earn regular stakes on a weekly basis, depending on their campaigns and forum rankings. These stake units won are divided equally and fairly at the end of the campaign and are distributed as coins of that ICO.

How is the stake calculated?

The stake can be calculated in different ways as I see in many campaigns. If you wish is the most commonly used 2 stake calculation method.

1st Calculation Type: The total number of stakes that all of the users have gained is calculated, and this coin number is divided by the amount of stake specified for the campaign. In this way, how much money each user earns is learned and distributed to the accounts.

2nd Calculation Type: The total number of stakes the user has gained is calculated, then the number of coins determined for the campaign is divided by the stake amount and multiplied by the stake rates of the users and distributed to the accounts. It is also a type of calculation derived with the aim of reducing the wage to be distributed.

Why Stake?

Stake use is the most appropriate choice for both campaign owners and for fair competition and use among users. It is preferred for distribution to users without exceeding a certain amount of coin, without extra expense.

I didn't beg merit points. In response to my disgust, I only made a wish.

Actually marlboroza trolled you that you have created this topic for merits only. I believe there is some decent move from you contribute on this forum. I believe merit system gave more contributor to this forum.
People who believe the trust system trying to troll all the people with their trust rating.

Theymos have to decide that merit system been used to grab to position or contributing the forum.

In bounties, you earn Stakes that are converted to Tokens once the campaign ends and the token is released. You can't earn Tokens since tokens don't exist until an ICO finishes. So, the proper term is Stake until Tokens are issued.

No, this topic has not been opened to earn merit. I only left a note that people who think it is useful might give merit for support, but it is misunderstood. The purpose of opening the konuyu definitely not merit.

People will definitely see this thing as begging merit even though it is true or not but haven't you consider on the new topic you have opened? Checking out there are lots of topics related to this matter which turns out that this thing is already make repetition to the topics being posted way before.Instead on creating another related topic its much better to focus into things which aren't being posted since.Seeing those links there are quiet lots of numbers of threads towards this stuff.

People are thinking in a different way, still, some people don't know how the stakes system will work. You have given some good article for people who might confuse about the stakes.

Sorry, maybe my language is not improving as I thought it had but your first explanation of stakes does not seem to make logical sense to me. I always thought stakes were only in 1 definition, which is your second.

Total number of coins divided by total number of stakes amount = amount per stake. It is actually as simple as that.

In your first calculation, total stakes divided by number of coins does not make sense. (for example if there are 2 stakes and 100 coins, then each user gains 2/100 = 0.02 coins?

50 coins per stake. Not 0.02 coins.

Look, I was trying to point out your mistake. You said: "total stakes divided by total number of coins" which is 2/100 = 0.02 coins. You should change it to say "total number of coins divided by total stakes" which 100/2 = 50 coins. Do you get what I mean? If you are trying to help newcomers, you should not confuse them and get the mathematics correct!

Since I did not have enough information about the stake system, I started to research what happened. I have met with this issue and many of the questions in the mind have been cleared of the sign, health care.

I see it now, what you want to say. Yes i write format wrong because of Translate application. I will be correct the mistake soon.

Since I did not have enough information about the stake system, I started to research what happened. I have met with this issue and many of the questions in the mind have been cleared of the sign, health care.

Thanks for your comment.

I didn't troll him, I pointed similar topics and I pointed that all this has already been discussed several times.

Also, he posted this(in case you missed this before he edited topic):

So, actually, it is my opinion about whole topic. Is there any other reason why this topic was posted in meta(discussion about forum and not discussion about what stake is) and later moved to altcoin section?  ::)

Well thank you for your effort . But you could have described it in a very simple way , Stake = shares . I really do not see why you made it too complicated.  :)

And to calculate stakes just do what you will do to calculate you shares in any thing . Value of the asset ( pool )  / number of shares ( stake ) = value of 1 share ( stake) .

The sampling you have done has been a very nice, useful and understandable example. Thank you for your good comment and notes.
