Just prefix your search with site:BitcoinTalk.org
For example enter this into the search box site:BitcoinTalk.org AxeGrinder Title: Re: Trouble searching the Forum Post by: odolvlobo on February 13, 2018, 02:03:39 AM You can do a site specific search in Google. I tested using my "Newbie" alt account and was able to replicate it, however this wasn't the case using my original account. It's account related (meaning you have to normally use forum and rank up, before that limitation is lifted). The google search works, however, this is not where I wish to search, I wish to search this forum... can you help please? Frustrated noob - Simply lurking here (like how you've been doing since the creation of your account), isn't going to help. - Based on the following message that I got (for my "Newbie" alt account): Quote "You are searching too quickly. Wait 90 seconds. (There is a Google-based search engine on the search page that does not have this limit.)" Then waiting for "90 seconds", shouldn't be that much of an issue...Title: Re: Trouble searching the Forum Post by: Trubadur on February 13, 2018, 07:37:07 AM I also noticed that searching engine on this forum is not working very well. I also red about the new forum software will be implemented soon what could cure the current problems we facing with.
Title: Re: Trouble searching the Forum Post by: Angel0 on February 13, 2018, 06:39:31 PM When you are newbie there are some restrictions until you reach higher rank then you can search all you want, don't compare every site since they have different developer and has a reason for every rules on their site, if you don't want them then crest your own with your own rules.
Title: Re: Trouble searching the Forum Post by: sebo.k on February 13, 2018, 08:52:03 PM Searching the forum is sometimes complicated. You must make sure if you are not certain of the particular forum to get your results from, then click on home and do general search.
Title: Re: Trouble searching the Forum Post by: AxeGrinder on March 13, 2018, 11:19:53 PM I don't "lurk" here... I'm too busy!
I have waited far longer than 90 seconds, but I won't bother again, I'll use google or something! The reason I don't "lurk" here, is, what is the point, if I can't search for what I need... Pretty crud hey? Title: Re: Trouble searching the Forum Post by: TryNinja on March 13, 2018, 11:32:53 PM I don't "lurk" here... I'm too busy! Search with Google by doing what Jet Cash suggested above...I have waited far longer than 90 seconds, but I won't bother again, I'll use google or something!
