Hello guys, do you trade in Etherdelta?

I just notice lately that ED is down for a couple of days now.
50% of my funds are there.
I cannot withdraw right now. It was stuck in the contract.
Is there any way to withdraw it manually?
Is there any way to recover it?

Please, to those who knew, can you help me?
I hope anybody here knows how to withdraw in smart contract manually.

So sick for you to still trade on ED where the reputation of that site is so shady, and maybe it will be the best for you to avoid that site since their reputation is so bad and you will be prone of balance stealing. There's so many sites where you can deal decently and try to think again upon trading on them with this another issue since you cannot sue anyone if your balance will be stole since ED management will just wash their hands for sickly hacking/stealing events sorrounded in their site.

Maybe this is why I can not trade in etherdelta overnight. When I hit the buy button, then out notice that the order has been unavailable and many times I reload the browser, but no change and the order to sell and buy is not updated automatically. I am annoyed because of the loss of gas to pay the fee from the deposit and withdrawal.

Is the etherdelta down?  incredible! I don't want to believe this is true, I have used etherdelta for more than 2 years, although it's very lag, but the kind of token is indeed the most complete, and now it closed?

Manually you do not change anything, it is possible of course to interrupt with a higher transaction with a large amount of gas price.

I think dev will fix this problem, because etherdelta twitter already announce it and they said will continuing to work on a resolution for the ongoing API issue. Be patient.

we should prepare and aware for the bad news, do not put all in the same basket

2 days or any time duration would really vary depending on current issues that they might faced or do make self upgrades/improvements and as a trader the thing you can do is to wait before they would normalize again regarding to their operation. For now ED works fine for me as usual and about these downtimes we shouldnt really panic since ED wont easily gone but we should be always alert on the possibilities on losing money on storing up money on exchanges.

This issue was just for about a couple of days, so don't bear in mind. On the other hand, this is another red flag for Ether delta,  it was hacked 2 times during the last year.  So,  don't save there funds for a long time

Etherdelta is working bt orders are not updated as they should have been. Still if you wish to withdraw tokens and funds from Etherdelta, it should not be a problem. Incase you cannot, try using the following services which are directly linked with ED and trusted too:

However, be careful if the ticker is not officially listed, you may have to eneter the contract address manually.

Etherdelta was just a piece of shit exchange, its been several times that this platform involved in hacking issues. I guess this should be erased in this industry. Its hard to trust anymore even there is an instruction to pull out your token it is still difficult to believe actually. Also I believed then too that there is an inside job.

It happened to me before when I'm still using etherdelta, but since then, I stop using it because of the possibility that it may happen again. Maybe all you can do is wait for the exchange to work normally, then cash out your funds and don't even try again to use it. There is no hope even if how many times you try pull out your funds there, you are just wasting gas and time.

That's why many people will suggest don't keep your asset in exchanges better you need to divert your money after buying them to your concerned wallet in order to be secured. Don't completely relay on exchanges.

Do not panic mate .. Etherdelta is somehow experiencing problems . If I am not mistaken they had like DDOS attack so chill and no worries about funds coz ED should take care of their customers . 

I also believe this is only a small attack on ED and maybe a few more days or weeks will all be normal and do not worry your treasure will not

I think they are having ddos attack but I will be resolve as always be. Try not to worry much and follow their social media attack to keep updated. When it's up withdraw excess coin you will not use for trading.

it's a rule of thumb not to keep too much coins in any trading platform because it can be hacked. keep it on your wallet. it doesn't matter what platform you're using.

ED is always like that. Always have problems with the user. I have lost 4 ETH from ED. and I gave up on it. Very bad exchange and hacked several times. advise you after the token is recovered. Please stop using it

There is a way where you can withdraw your funds even  without going on etherdeltas site. Check ethereum blue tweet about that guide. It will help you a lot.

First of all, dont use etherdelta, use idex instead. Its safer and the trading fees are cheaper than etherdelta. Secondly, service will come back, dont panic.

As far as I know they are safe. But I will suggest you to move all of them because the site is currently under maintenance.

If that DNS type of hacking isn't still resolved yet or being stopped completely then chances on getting hacked will be always there and yet people do still risk on using the site even theres no such announcement that it is already safe to make engagement with the site.I doubt he do make such mistake on buying an sell order or just totally leaving out that 4 ETH idle into ED site itself without minding on pulling it out again into his own MEw wallet.

if he is using ED/MEW with private key, there is higher chance he can get hacked.
i aggree ED is not completely save. there is no suck new announcement regarding their progress.
just in case if something is going wrong. it is better to put only small amount in there for trading but i suggest we migrate to idex market

Well that is the best thing to do in order not to waste your coin. Try another exchanges like kucoin. This kucoin is a great exchange for fast and unpending transactions that you will never suffer and regret because this is trusted one. 

This is very worrying, I also use etherdelta today and even before and I still have coins also there, hopefully this problem can be solved by the developers.

Etherdelta is getting worse day by day , it is all because of the increasing number of new users trading there, they do are getting new customers day by day but they have not enhanced their existing infrastructure. what they did was that they started an ICO and the funny thing is that after ICO the trading platform has got more buggy.

No need to be worry and create panic Etherdelta will be fine and get back normal to work but one thing dont deposit all ur money in one exchanger it is very risky

ED, forkdelta or IDEX is same.
all of them are decentralized exchange.
they(developer) do not really hold our fund or even steal your token from their site.
they need to breach your wallet if they want to take your token/ETH
so they able to steal your wallet information such as private key.
in order to prevent that atleast you need to use metamask, do not ever use private key

what are the conditions for input, output on ideas. You have already worked, how quickly it is displayed, and whether there were problems with the output of tokens.

If anyone's looking for alternatives to etherdelta, check out wandx exchange. You can trade in baskets of erc20 tokens as well.

i switched to FORKDELTA and IDEX.

I've used Eltherdelta for a long time when i knew Idex exchange- the decentralized exchange same Etherdelta but easy to use and more security. I lost haft of my funds in Eltherdelta, in this exchange, when send token to smartcontract, the fail transaction occured many time and slow.

This is the main reason and also the maintenance cycles are always prolonged and many latencies. IDex has more to offer than when you still want to get a good deal from making orders like a loaf of bread and never think of more professional exchanges.

It's always been interesting, EtherDelta and ForkDelta are the same thing? I understand that the principles of work of these two exchanges are the same - both work using MetaMask. But I managed to find a common language  only with ForkDelta. When I try to go to EtherDelta - the download is not coming to completion! :(

both the fork delta and etnerdelta work fine now, only the prices for them are slightly different, and that with liquidity is not very. If Etnerdelta does not work, try using VNN should help

I think the system is functioning well now and you can try to trade there but it is also advisable that you should keep your funds in appropriate wallets and not on exchange when you are not ready to trade for safety reasons.

I hope things have improved on the site.  Etherdelta really helped a lots of projects last year.  Many projects that were rejected got listed easily on Ed!
