Title: Looking for an Android developer
Post by: btcfaucet on September 13, 2013, 05:58:43 PM
I want to take bitcoins offline, provide a bridge between merchants and Bitcoin users IRL (or 'AFK') in the UK. To make this painless for merchants, I need an Android interface.

The proper Android dev companies will charge tens of thousands of pounds, but I need someone to do it for way less (sorry - i know programming is a PITA and it needs to be paid properly, but I still think >5k is too much for this project).

There is a specification, there are apps out there that do more or less the same thing and their source is completely open, so it's not like you have to reinvent the wheel.

I don't code Java at all but my gut instinct tells me that creating the app shouldn't take more than 2-3 weeks. Having said that, I am open to being told wrong, and there is no big rush.

If you are a reputable Android developer with verifiable references and interested in a freelance project, please do PM me. I can pay in bitcoins or british pounds.
