Title: The great HARDFORK topic! Mandatory update for your coin? Post it here!
Post by: MaGNeT on September 13, 2013, 09:18:47 PM
Last weeks we saw many problems arising with coins updating their clients and not notifying pools and services.

What we need is a centralized topic where you can post when a (mandatory) update of your coinclient is released, where pools, exchange and other services can get their information.

Things to add when you post an update:

- at what block will it fork, what is the ETA?
- is it mandatory?
- github / source location of updated client
- old specs / new specs
- link to topic
- other thoughts?

As bad as Petrf1ed doesn't want to, GME wil need another hard fork soon.

It's all in the game...
But please keep it ontopic, we have enough other topics to brag about our hashingpower :)

No one is bragging about hashing power here, The GME dev himself made that mention in the GME thread.

Suggestion: If you want to control the topic, lock this one and create a User moderated thread.

Good idea for a thread by the way.
