PG is to smart, I don't think we should worry.  If BFL launch a miner in walnut and Rosewood, we know what happened!

I'd suggest you politely ask Josh for a tour then.

I would rather see evidence from PG than to hear about his epiphany and change of "heart". You had pointed questions PG that required answers of BFL and that is all we want are the answers. If you don't have those then not much can really be gleaned and to be honest many people here don't care about conversions as much as the real reasons they are not getting their units, their refunds and the fact that BFL has been altering their terms of presales every few weeks. How about you provide the community with an honest appraisal based on those areas because we really don't care how you "feel" about BFL, we only care about what you can objectively report about.

I am pretty confident that I can't learn anything new from going to BFL. If people have gone there and can't quickly rehabilitate the BFL reputation how would my trip there be of any value. Besides I have no interest in BFL beyond seeing them be RESPONSIBLE citizens in the Bitcoin community. That will only happen if BFL changes how they are currently doing business. That will not change if I or anyone were to visit BFL.

Let me put it simply. There are obvious reasons for people being UPSET.

1. They have not received their units on time or at all.
2. The terms and conditions for the presales of the units keeps changing and morphing as they continue to miss their target dates for shipping.
3. Their customer service is poor.
4. They refuse legitimate claims for refunds.

I don't see what the big fuss is about really. The simple solution is for people to stop buying their products, stop investing money in non-existent and undesigned future hardware.

PG has not resolved any of those issues given his posts.

I have no animosity for PG or BFL. I feel the best way to resolve an issue where you are upset and angry and disappointed is to take the advice of Dr. Montessori. It isn't about PG or BFL it is about our own need to move forward. Why does one need the stress or animosity of dealing with BFL? Cut the cord let yourself float free of the burdens they bring. Move on to a new company that offers less pain and misery. Simple.


That is why BFL will ultimately fail no one wants to be held back by the bullshit that they have heaped on their customers. Time to cut the cord and move on and no one can argue the truth of that statement.

I suppose this would be a bad time to point out that they DO have their equipment FCC tested? 

You mean other than specific components?

Show us the links to their FCC approval (for an entire unit) or even a test report.

Otherwise, I must call BS.

What a shit company, thank god I never ordered anything from them.  Have they ever tried to explain in detail why they are so far behind?  From what I've read they were low on employees which meant slow building/shipping products.  Then they hired more and the big September promise came out.  What else did I miss?
