Title: If you would have 2 BTC, what would you spend it on? Post by: wittaz on February 13, 2018, 07:12:05 AM I'm currently looking to spend a few more bucks in altcoins.
Here's my current portfolio: * OriginTrail 40% * CPChain 40% * ICON 20% * VeChain 20% (I'm putting more in Vechain before the rebranding as I expect to see a big rise after it.) These 4 are my main longterm coins. I'm looking at other great projects like Bottos, Achain, NANO (since the big price drop due to the Bitgrail hack), Devery, ... But I don't know which coin really stands out. I am okay with longterm investments. NEO is also on my watchlist since I can see it become as big as Ethereum in 2018-2019. From My research these three coin has massive potential in the long term. ADA and NEO could be better in the future than ETH.

I have seen some of the potential altcoins like NEO, Vechain. Their technology is really great and in the future will be many projects using their technology.

Some good coins are Modum, Neufund or waves. All are good for long term if you have some time ;)

Ethereum and Bitcoin Cash will more than likely do what Bitcoin did in 2017. Then Litecoin, Dash, & Monero are all good HODL's too. Then I'd take $1,000-$2,000 and gamble on some newer coins and maybe some ICO's. I wouldn't invest too much in any coin that isn't outperforming Bitcoin on a year to year basis percentage wise.

Sonm, Centra, Dalc, even ripple are some of these coins. Just split your money into bits and go for the deal. At least, 20,000 units per coin. Which coin would you put more in? if I have 2 bitcoin then what I do is invest in some altcoin whose price is still under $ 40 and has the potential to be very expensive by looking at the total supply circulation and the development of the project they are planning. If ever I could receive this much I will withdraw 1 BTC for my expenditures and 1 BTC for my future investments. Who knows what BTC can do in the future? It's better to have 1 BTC than to have none. I will buy my own house since we are just renting a house and we don't have our own house. I will pay all the debts and use the money in more interesting things.

They are new released coins with a limited supply and sold at low price, it is expected they will be double by 3x to 5x before the end of 2018. Because if I do that will earn a lot of profit and some of my bitcoin will hold incase the price will increase more. But If you want big profit the best to buy is altcoins. I don't have NEO and if you think it will become ethereum soon the price just buy or invest to that coin better to make a research of what decision you will make.

Post by: cryptotitan on February 13, 2018, 10:07:23 PM I dont really know when you are researching or not,but the only thing i could to invest is NEO,it is growing faster than ever before more and more developers are using NEO's platform using the NEP5 tokens which are better than ethereum's erc20 tokens which is outdated with neo's token.But if i have an extra two bitcoins i will put it into a decent ICO investment but i will do a lot of research first to lessen the risk of losing my money.

So, what would you do with 2 BTC? Or even 10 BTC? Which coin would you put more in? Those are good plans. If it's me though, I would keep 1 BTC just for future investment, and as for the other one, I would invest 50% of that on strong altcoins like Ethereum or Waves, while the other 50% would be for up-and-coming altcoins that are low in value but has good potential to rise up for short term investment purposes. The market is somewhat hinged on diversity, thus, as you diversify your investments, it does not only increase your chances of winning in some of them, but you also spread out the probable loses that may happen. Then i would buy some "exchange" shares -tokens as binance coin, kucoin shares and coming dtr - dynamic trading rights. I would finish my shopping list with some longterm picks as TAAS ( dividend paying token ) and Iconomi tokens ( buyback/burn ). Also spare some eth for upcoming ICOs like blocksquare and diw.

Depending on when you want to cash out, I think eth will be a better short term hold like 1 year and neo would be better long term hold until 2020. With holding Bitcoin you may see it go back up to 20k which is 3x/4x with NEO you could easily see 10x returns this year I reckon.

If I'm on your shoe, I'll definitely wait for longer time until bitcoin fully recovers and let's say that we already recovered then that's the best time for you to spend those.

And another option to invest the bitcoin for better is ICOs investment , every month 1-2 ICOs are launching ( legimate , otherwise stupid ICOs are launching day by day many ) and you can make lots of earnings from those coin's ICOs investment in bulk amount but a big problem will be to wait long term to increase Thier price . MCO is shipping their cards in the next few weeks which should prompt a climb to ~$24 to $60 USD. Meanwhile Blocklancer is still in its ICO with a hard cap of 10m USD, which makes for a very realistic 1000x increase by 2020ish. Could even go as high as 10000x if it becomes the #1 Freelancing platform and the market grows (which is a projection that has been made). The Freelancing market is around $1.5 Trillion USD in size, so if Blocklancer could take 10% of that it would land at a $150 Billion market cap, which is a 15000x increase from its hard cap.
