Pricing is set we can't change it. Bitfury chips are expensive to purchase.
These units run at
2.5 watts and 500mA.
Chips for these units where purchased at $130. 2.1BTC is the price and that is how it has to stay. Sorry but we can hand these out at a loss.

Little confused....I could spend $199 USD and get the same amount of hashing power. As the BLOCK ERUPTORS are $24.95 right now. x8 = $199

333 hash rate X 8 =2664 hash rate

BTC-E for (2.1 BTC) =$262.25 USD

so is it just braggin rights?
No we are selling a product.
Btw this is a thread for selling a product please take all calculations etc to this thread.

Yeah , I did not mean anything like this is not a good product or anything.

But the pricing is steep. It should be somewhere close to 1.45 btc like I mentioned which would still mean something around 184$ right now. Thats a good offer of 100 days roi comparing to 144 (which is a month and a half) with no electricity. So I dont know how much of a discount you guys can consider but it would be better if you drop the price a little. Believe me the volume will get the profit higher at that point.

We can't drop the price without losing money. Here is a post I made on why the cost it what it is.

If people are wondering why the cost is what it is.
Some reasons:
- we need to recover what we invested
- we payed extra for development chips
- we payed extra for getting components and fab as fast as possible
- chip alone costs 1BTC
- payed for all the hubs to test them on
- transferring hardware around
- labour costs

Everything adds up. We wish we could sell these at $50 but in reality it is impossible. When bitfury chip price drops we will be able to offer our units considerably cheaper. It is not cheap designing a new USB miner. I understand people wanting to get them cheap. These are almost 8x more powerful then the nearest competitor. If we where able to get chips cheaper then we would happily sell the units cheaper. But we can't sell at a loss.

If you have any problems feel free to contact any of our team and we will do our best to answer them.

good luck with running 8 Block erupters and a fan on that, where u gonna get the 4+ Amps required? certainly not through your laptop USB. There is a whole thread devoted to suitable hubs for running 10 block erupters, i dont seem to remember that being one of them.
most folk go for the Anker, Orinco or Juiced System hubs which are all in the $50-60 range.

Ok, you could buy those almost free USB HUB's from China, as I did. I even used a 5volt 7ampere PU (it comes with a 5v1a PU) to have 9 USB Block Erupters hashing. This was the result:

The included shipping cost is only for UK or is also included for the rest of EU (in this case, Portugal)?

This.
Well, you might be able to sell one or two as collector items, they do look kinda neat and perhaps there are bitcoins geeks who want to have at least one of each miner?.
But no one sane would buy these for profitable mining.

It works with bfgminer. We are working with cgminer devs. After the cgminer comparability is added and it is released I would assume minepeon will incorporate the update (as it does with all cgminer and bfgminer updates)
Yes shipping is from Indonesia.

looks like a nice product, but i guess a review would do your product well (also in tems of sales).

I'ld be glad to review a free demo unit for you and if it's actually good, i can write up a seperate article for cryptocoinsnews aswell (ive had several of my articles published there).

Just PM me should you be interested :)

Since you apparently have no website, no information, no one posted on here who has ordered & received a unit....You aren't very credible i'm afraid.

Saying you've sold 150+ is all fine & dandy, but if no one verified it's a legit product, your sales here will go nowhere i'm afraid.

I'm offering you a legit chance to do a review of your product & help boost your sales. Just consider it, if you aren't up for it, good luck with your product :)

No. We have sold almost all our current stock. We have also posted video proof. If you would like to pay for a device and review it that is fine but we can just go around handing stuff out for free. If you where a dev for cgminer or bfgminer then sure but you are not. Sorry.
The video is here. (Also in the first post)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dB3U7iyiauk
In a few days you can ask the cgminer dev Ckolivas if we have a legit product. If hd video is not enough for you.

How much power does these use?

Also my calculation says you can mine 0.0145 a day with these , which comes down to 144 days of ROI without electricity and no difficulty raise. Usb erupters was not a favor of consumers just because it was pricey and I think these are as well , yes some people who wants to buy it just for the fun of it will but for economic investment , these still dont look correct prices. More like 1.45 would be a better candidate and anything less than 1 bitcoin for these would mean BUY NOW alert :D

Any defects?  Any problems with this USB at the moment?

We have had a couple bad chips etc. but we test every unit before we send so you are guaranteed to get the 2.5 ghs hash rate we advertise.

Hello, I think the far lower power cost than block erupters also makes them attractive as a novelty item in countries where electricity actually costs money.

I was thinking about buying one, but I heard somewhere that I need those exact same 19-slot-Hubs (which I can only find on chinese websites where I have to inquire for the price) to run them. Is that correct? I cannot simply plug them into my notebook directly or into the anker hub next to my block erupters? that would defeat the purpose of an USB miner stick so I hope it's wrong information.

I know this is a sales hread but I read through the whole information thread and found no definitive information - and I think buyers would want to know :D

Post #3 "These units run at 2.5 watts and 500mA." So you need a powered USB hub with sufficient power. The Block Erupters use 250mA, so you could take two out of your Anker hub and put in one of these. You may be able to power more - look at the specs for your Anker hub.

This will run off my motherboard mounted USB slot yes?  (USB 3.0, not sure if the mA output is higher or not)

Edit:  Just measured, 888mA from my Asus Maximus V Gene 3.0 port.  734mA from front panel port.

These can actually be run straight from a powered port on any laptop. But a hub is recommended. Any hub that is capable of running at 500mA can run these. I am working with a dlink hub so a orico hub should work fine.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/D-Link-DUB-H7-Port-USB-External/dp/B0002AFZVM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1379259424&sr=8-1&keywords=dlink+hub+7

but that's only 5 ports, so while you are correct we would save some money over the anker hub, it's only around 8-10%. And when buying lots of block erupters you will have far less cable clutter and "hubs in hubs in hubs in hubs" with the ankers.

why do people from the UK look at Anker 10 port hubs you can get a dlink 7port for £18.90 shipped....

Beats me. I've got three of the Tecknet/Orico 10 port hubs which were abt £30 when I got them, but have climbed a bit since then. They will support 10 AsicMiner USB sticks. Good build quality and the blue LEDs for active ports are useful when problems crop up. The D-Link 7-port hubs only support 6 USB sticks but you can use the 7th port for daisy chaining. They are lighter and tend to shift gradually so tend to be a bit messier.

Ordered one just for fun.

Hard to believe that 2 years ago I had 3 full size rigs running at less hashing power than this little USB drive.

Indeed, good for you. I am curious who is buying and why, its not like it has a snowballs chance in hell of breaking even. Can some of the buyers speak up please?

i do not understand these questions... asicminer and it's resellers sold 10,000's of USB block erupters that will most likely never break even..

True, but at ~$25 I can see people buying that just for the heck of it.
~$250 seems a lot to pay  just for the coolness factor.

and less hashing power per $.

so please stop arguing about price-politics. either you buy, or you don't.

Let's be honest here these are no more overpriced than the ASICMINER USBs were in release. They were approx £150 a unit, closer to £200 by the time you factored in group buy charges and shipping.

These units are probably being bought and resold to new miners for fiat. That is a healthy market however at this price and this difficulty the chance to lose money is huge.

When the next batch is selling at 1btc I will be on board until then I will just wait on the sidelines. Very soon  we will have 3 or 4 different USB miners available and with AM pricing competition and rising difficulty, the other manufacturers will need to reduce price accordingly or just get left with unsaleable items.

I know you were saying about not wanting to nose money but soon it will be a case of minimising loses. Unshipped product does you no good unless you are mining on  them first but the lack of a good ROI means that will assist in minimising losses but not make them profitable.

He isn't new. Original member. At times different members take the lead. Trust us if someone trying to pass themselves off as a BPMC member we would jump on it pretty fast.
