Unfortunately the bankruptcy of MtGox, who held our wallet, means we have lost access to those donated funds. We will continue to watch developments in the hope that we can reclaim our missing funds and in the meantime we have opened another wallet on a different exchange. Bitcoins can be stored on a piece of paper that you put in a safe - or on a usb stick. As soon as you place bitcoins in the hands of someone else they cease to be yours. The whole point of bitcoin is that you don't need a third party.
