Title: Solved: Merits disappeared, when post was "edited"!
Post by: Maum on February 14, 2018, 12:39:08 PM
I could swear, that one post of a member was merited. The post was then edited and suddenly the merits disappered.
Does anyone know more about that or sources maybe could try out?

Edit: Case solved

The poster deleted his post and wrote a new one, before others answered. So it looked like an edited post lost its merits.

Maybe you didn't edit whole post as in the case, I saw.

No, I haven't, I just change small things and add more text, that's all. Can you track the points from the merit page? Maybe you can post the actual post here.

Quote that post so that we can check and help. I see very less chances of this happening and you might be confused with another post without merits.

Lol, no it is not my post. I meant, that maybe two sources could try out and meriting each other without beeing accused to abuse merit system and edit their posts completly.
Maybe also TMAN or Lauda remember this post. (It was posted and merited yesterday afternoon)
I wouldn't like to quote it without permission of the poster, because my question doesn't depend on the content, but on technical aspect of the merit system.
