Title: Merged mining - is it real today???
Post by: emerald_vistas on July 16, 2011, 07:18:24 PM
Hi guys, i want to merge several notebooks up in the cluster. I read about BTC/NMC merged mining topic, about merge-mine-proxy ... But i understand nothing.

Maybe someone here can help me out on HOW-TO make single computing cluster on several machines?

In this case forget about merged-mine-proxy. It's. Not what you are searching for.   ;D  You just need stock bitcoind (search the forum and/or the wiki for "solo mining") and point all your workers to it. But  please verify that the notebooks have decent GPUs. Otherwise you might pay more for electricity than you earn by mining.
