From what I've seen they usually get an initial boom; then get a big drop back until it stabilizes.

They usually have some initial price movements from beginning, especially if their devs did good marketing over some popular channels. Most of people in that case just wait for coin to hit on some exchange to buy some of them. But that is not a case on every coin. Some of them, which had ICO, slightly go down in terms of price because early participants who took some kind of ICO bonus, sell their initial investment and only leave ''bonus coins'' to hodl. If you are trying to earn some gains on those coins you need to research them very well before they hit any exchange. Best way to start looking for them is on announcement part of this forum  ;)

Nope, it really depends if the project gain popularity on social media or any other sites that can be a reason for it to get the attention of the traders then it will boost up eventually and then a big push back will happen afterwards but for some reason other coin does not go the same way as others because I've seen a lot of new coin that goes up and down but never drastically goes in either way maybe the way of advertising the coin makes the difference.

No for sure, such coins are usually pump dump coins, having little market caps, it is easy to dump such coins hard and very little people usually hold most of the such coins.

The majority doesn't.

Coins i don't know prior to listing that do not have millions being traded in the first few days are generally not worth looking at.  The odd exception confirms the rule ofcourse

What the fuck is this?
Decentralizing Jesus???? Yea, go and buy this, sounds promising.
If you want to get some profit on similar stuff, then just wait for ICOs. Hyped ones easily go 3x.

Market Cap
$19 927 038 USD
2 136 BTC
21 921 ETH
Volume (24h)
$185 940 USD
19,93 BTC
204,55 ETH
thats gives a reason of the pump

Well, it did moon but it's still #340 in market capitalization. It's trading volume is a bit less than $200k. I believe, such coins can easily be manipulated and don't reflect any general tendencies of the market or make things better here. Ucash, on the other hand, had more than a million dollars trading volume and was in top-25 in marketcap (it's in top-50 now). Now that is pretty strong and rather surprising, since the project is not strong, support is low and only one exchange has the coin listed. I still don't get how things like this are done.

Nope, not necessary at all.

CMC is adding coins after they hit exchanges and made a certain daily volume, not before that. You must check every new coin where is added, what volume already have and is it going to jump more.

they all scam.
