How dare you make fun of Roger Ver! He has put so much effort and emotion in Bcrash......

He is even looking to make his empty blocks to get another size upgrade, because that would allow Bcrash blocks to contain more emptiness, and that's how he plans to create block space scarcity.

More block emptiness equals more demand that consists of nothing. At least you can admire his creativity......

as i said before August 2017, time will tell who was FUDing and what things were wrong.
they said SegWit = anyone can spend. 8 months has passed and you can see this has never been true.
they said nobody will run an LN node except banks and it will be centralized, now look at that picture. LN is not yet fully ready and node count is already at 700 and it is "users" running nodes.

There is 1 lightning node no one wants to connect ::)

that's pretty funny :D
but in all seriousness you think it is isolated because it is rejecting connections or does it ask for a high fee? or something else?

That node is probably where your BTC get lost in an address scam?

It also might be unconnected on purpose . It is probably not actually Roger Ver's node.

Good one mate. This actually made me giggle (still not worthy of my laugh 8) ). I too actually admire his creativity at some point.

It is his backup plan, when plan A called BCrash fails. He already mentioned in a previous video that they might have to scale with the help of the Lightning Network in the future. <trying to search for the source now> He knows BCrash will not be able to scale without Layer 2 applications, but he still repeats the parrot talk of how BCrash is faster and cheaper ......la la la..  ::)

They will still have to implement SegWit, before they can implement the Lightning Network and his minions are not going to like that. ^smile^

I was about to post the same thing when I saw that on Twitter. Hahaha!

Yes, still reckless, but yes. From looking Recksplorer, I believe the Lightning Network is decentralized enough with several nodes acting as "hubs" which cannot be avoided.

In a blog post on Monday, Director of Program Management at Microsoft’s Identity Division Alex Simons said that layer 2 scaling solutions, which principally involve the Lightning Network, are superior to on-chain scaling.

People yelling at a centralization with LN are the btrash people, of course for their own interest
I don't know exactly why, to be honest, it may be disconnected it may be his plan BTC you never know. Perhaps in 3 months he will go with Alex Jones talk show and say Bitcoin is awesome, others are fake ;D

There has been a new development.

Roger has now "added a friend" in the Lightning Network. Hahaha.

Plus when I checked the Recksplorer, it appears that the Bitcoin Cash trifecta has arrived.

Nice diagram. Yes, it looks very decentralized. I'm hoping the Lightning Network can be implemented widely by the end of this year. If it succeeds in scaling bitcoin, the sky is the limit.
