how to recover it?

As far as i know there is no way to recover it. I think there are some programs to force it but i do not if it is a scam or effective. You may try to post in the services section and see if someone can help you by giving them a reward.

If you have the private key saved, just start a new wallet from scratch and then reimport the key into the new wallet where you can set up a new password.

I am sorry for you but there is no such thing as recovering the password to your bitcoin wallet. I have a cousin who bought in 2012 many bitcoins but he can not recover the password to his wallet. It's bad when this happens to someone

If you have the seed then you can recover the password but in any other case this is not possible.
No one can recover lost passwords to your wallet.

Please give full information, a detailed words on what is the bitcoin wallet you are using. Did it gave you a private key after creating that wallet or any recovery words? If the login / password detail is the only thing you have lost, then you can use "forgot password" feature and details will be sent to your email.

Which of the bitcoin wallet did you  use be specific about it will be more helpful to see a way to help,but all the same keep trying remember something close to what you used  if will guide you.

As i experienced and already know there is no way to recover it once you lose it, its kinda hard to ride with that security and backups is pretty needed in that situation. I think other wallets have a solution for that if you saved your private keys and extensions but most of them are irrecoverable, just start again and make sure of your password , private keys and mnemonics, also prefer a backup files or atleast a picture.

What kind of wallet you are using? If you are using some wallet that are using an email then you can try to forget pasword and reset it to your email but if you are using wallet like my ether wallet or blockchain.info wallet and if you forget the wallet seed or private key then you are no longer chance to recover it sorry for your lost i hope i can help you with this advice.

If you have the private key or the passphrase, then you can recover it on ANY wallet; even if you had lost the password to that specific wallet.

Yeah your right if you lost your wallet, there's impossible to trace our wallet because we don't have traceability to find it.This is the lesson for everyone of us that we should keep safe our bitcoin wallet and make it doubled so that it will be secured always because this is a serious matter so we keep focus on it.

If you are on a campaign or bounty and cannot recover your wallet, you can create new one and message the company/campaign for replacement. There, you can send new wallet address. If your problem is, your wallet only itself, you can recover it on ditectory.io.

you have to have the seed words or your private key. other than that, it's lost. i hope you recover it any which way possible

You need to mention if what bitcoin wallet are you using? If you are using exchange wallet, there is a forgot password button there and request to reset your password and email to you the new one. If you are using an external wallet like blockchain, i assume that you have the private key, you can use it for log in to your wallet

1. Try to bruteforce the wallet.dat yourself with a good password list
2. Give your wallet.dat to a reputable recovery service
3. Cry and forget about that wallet, if you have not backed up your seed or have no clue as to what the password may be

hey man its so sad.there is no way to recover lost password.many news about lost password i hear ,but there is no solution till now for lost password.

Depends on what kind of wallet you are using. There are some wallet that have double security like typing your e-mail address and sending the password through it (forgot password) if there is something like that, it will still be possible as long as you remember the e-mail address you used in your wallet.

That was the thing,  so in bitcoin you need to be so intelligent for your own privacy,  even it's possible to recover but believe me, you need keep it your privacy so safety. Sometimes it can be spam when you lost it and try to recover it so many times. So copy your privacy till your note and put your note into below your pillow cases.

Your bitcoin wallet is created by coinbase or blockchain or other sites ? anyway i think you can find your password just send a private message to support to explain your problem or look if you can recover your password in the page of login

so far I do not know how to recover passwords, if your password is lost then there is no way to restore it unless you ever save your password on a piece of paper then all you have to do is to recall where you saved the paper, if you do not find it then you include people who are not lucky.

I think everyone will say the same as what you say. The problem of password loss or forgetting, it is very fatal. I myself had a little phobia with this kind of problem. I also fear if one day I feel the same.

What kind of wallet do you use? If the wallet need an email before you create like coins.ph then you will recover it by clicking forgot password they will give you an instructions what to do. The other wallet cant recover like myetherwallet itc.because they need a private key and phrase seed.

Getting your coins back will depend on the kind of wallet you use. If it is the kind of wallet that requires just an email and a password then you can recover your account by using your email to reset it. If it has private keys and you have the private key then you can use it to recover your account too. As far I know, there is no way to recover your password. All you need to is make again another wallet then you need to save the password, the best way to save is on you email because you may be back to your email to look for your password.

If you lose the password but still have the private key then there really isn't a problem but if you do not have the private keys then sorry to say but your coins are lost forever. They are designed that way to protect you from hacks so if you lost them there is no way to get it back.

Losing your password to your wallet is not really a big deal as long as you have access to the email which is associated with that account. The real question here is, Do you still have your private keys? Or did you lose them too? Passwords can be easily reset but without the private keys in your possession then you might as well kiss that bitcoin goodbye because you will never get it back.

The basic idea that makes crypto secure is that you CANNOT recover private keys / passwords. If that were possible, the whole system would collapse as anyone would then be able to steal your coins. I'm sorry that must be a terrible feeling and sorry that happened to you, but there is no way for you to recover it.

Thres are many bitcoin wallets if you are using the kind of wallet which utilizes the email ID then you can reset the password by clicking the link of forget password this is too applicable only if you store your private keys. If you lost your seed words or private key too then sorry to say this. You cant recover it back.

That really sucks.. i had it once years ago. lost a couple but back then it didn't hurt that much. good look bro  :(
