Hi guys,

I have an issue where I tried to log on to my etherdelta account and it keeps saying private key invalid: I made a backup but it still keeps saying this

You should have use MyEtherWallet and import it in EtherDelta instead of Wallet of EtherDelta. Just hope that they fix this issue because this is one of the decentralize pioneer in Ethereum trading platform.

I think its better to use metamask when you trade with etherdelta.As of now they have a new url o think its etherdeltafork ... For me its not still safe to trade with delta because of hacking issues,lets just wait when it becomes stable once the issues is fixed. I like also there decentralize platform.

EtherDelta still not working rightly. I believe there are resolving the issues with trade and Api also.

I just heard of this kind of problem try to check your private key and try to enter myetherwallet if wrong there is no unlock writing. so your private key address is wrong or there is less

Please, go to another site. etherdelta is offline right now. So many people are  trying the same thing with you to log in and trade in etherdelta but they are all getting result can't do anything with etherdelta. They can't deposit or trade.  Remember to avoid such shady exchange site and try to only use major exchange site which still being used by a lot of people right now.
Go to the major exchange and you will get an easy way to trade.

Even if you get it working, I'd HIGHLY recommend using MetaMask for MEW and EtherDelta.  If you're using your private key, then I suspect you have it in a text file somewhere for you to copy/paste.  This is very risky, and even if you secure the file you still have to paste it into ED; which just recently got their DNS hacked and stole people's private key as they pasted it into the browser.

Try to use link myetherwallet into your etherdelta, and make sure if  make an transactions into etherdelta link from myetherwallet make sure you an ethereum balance into your mew for the gas transactions.
Simple I recommend with you mate jus watch the video in the youtube how to use etherdelta propertly to avoid mistake.

If you want to trade on etherdelta then better stick with metamask. It's really good, you can customize fee and see most of tokens. It have also connections with some of websites. For example as long as you have selected tokens in wallet you will see them on their website without any problems. It's just my opinion if anyone disagree please let me know why. :)

I am very cautious about this exchange.  If you are trading on it, then I advise you to make a separate MEV purse for her.  I know many cases when money is lost from purses.  Therefore, if you want to sell something on this exchange, first transfer coins from your main purse to a new one, and then go to this exchange.

For me! I think! You need to send youe ETH and token want to exchange to used with Etherdelta! Other ETH and token you need to keep in other wallet for security purposes!

Etherdelta is compromised now. do not deposit even do not enter it. now  ED down so do not give any private key. use other exchanges like binance.

Etherdelta is offline right now and it is always advise to keep your private key in a text format. It is very risky and you should keep it in a safe place. Further you should have to use myetherwallet private key and import it to the etherdelta. This is the most easiest way to do. Anyway these days you cannot either deposit or trade via etherdelta and do not give your private keys to anyone.

Now etherdelta not recomended to tradeble,  Server Often down, hight gas price, you should use another market better than etherdelta.
But if you keep using etherdelta you can install metamask in your computer browser

Wait ED is compromised again? I never was a big fan of it but it was nice for the oddball tokens they would list. I wouldn't dare use it however without a ledger.

ED will run into the ground if they don't get these security issues fixed.

now this is indeed etherdelta often have problems,
either because the new CEO is a problem or something.

I still cannot honestly believe people use ED when there are other options out there already. ED has long been dead since it was transferred to new incompetent owners. Move to idex.market or ETHfinex when it's released. There's no need to bang your head against a wall with that exchange.

ED is very complicated. Hate to use this. Best is Binance.

There is a lot of unnecessary things that people have to do when trying to trade on EtherDelta. Just use Bittrex or Poloniex.
