Title: Legit airdrops are profitable but most of them are not legit
Post by: Coin_Maven on February 15, 2018, 02:07:45 PM
(7/3/2018 Airdrop of the day)

Electroneum (ETN, top 50 in market cap, tradable at exchanges) just launched the mobile phone miner, it wont burn the battery and the team said $3-$7 could be mined per month. You can download at google play now. For android phone only. By Electroneum Ltd. Code: 364F2D

Active potential airdrop recommended:
Cellblocks: https://cellblocks.io/airdrop_new.php?id=pjm7UCgf

I have participated in a number of airdrops, some of them provide good return but most of them are worthless or even no tokens are distributed.
The problem of joining airdrops is that most of them are useless and you just waste your time in numerous worthless airdrops. However, I found that by reading the whitepapers, checking out the website and team you have a much higher chance of identifying legit airdrops.
Yet doing all that is time consuming and sometimes I wish someone could simply tell me which airdrops I should join.
I have been joining different airdrop telegram groups, yet most of them post as much airdrop as they can. I have to go through a lot of rubbish to find the golden ones. Therefore I have the idea of starting my airdrop channel to only provide quality airdrops with real potential.

I like what you trying to do over here. It is true that majority of the airdrops are nothing but scams trying to rob people of their money. Among the few legit airdrops, only some of them are worth the time and money investment and the rest are worthless. Personally, I possess a huge number of tokens which I received through random airdrops among which most of them are bags and a few of them were worth HODLING in the long run. Oyster Pearl was one of the best drops that I received in recent times. I advise everyone not to give away their private key and not to download random wallets which could still your credentials.

I don't quite understand your statement about "most of them are not legit". In my understanding i see your statement sort of as "i have their tokens but i cant exchange them". Airdrops are given whenever there is an ICO some do this but some dont whatever their marketing strategy is but still some airdrops are prior to the release and the start of the ico project meaning you have the token but it is not in the market yet. Some give them at the end of the ico thus it is available in the market and is ready to he exchanged. If an airdrop is a success and you received some, its not "not legit" since you already got them.

You said it right, that's why I quit participating airdrops when my wallet was full of shit coins because Airdops are giving shit tokens that had never hit Crypto Exchange until now.
I agree that some Aitdrops are giving good tokens but the value are so little and you need to wait longer time to let it pump.
I rather join Telegram Bounty Campaigns because bounty campaigns are giving good value bounty tokens than Airdrops.

Yeah, good to have this quite. I have participated in so many airdrops, but not all are legit. Some even get to the point of entering into some exchanges, but along the line they face off.

Sorry for the confusion. :'( I guess those are not the most suitable choice of wordings.
What i am trying to talk about are airdrops prior to the release and the start of the ico project. By not legit i am talking about the whole ico project. There are some ico projects you can immediately tell that they are rubbish by looking at their website. It's clear that their are just trying to put the blockchain concept on a random thing and launch the ico to collect funds. I regard those ico as non legit and hence the related airdrop is not legit too. Do you have any recommendation on my topics?  ???English is not my first language..

Well, at least airdrops don't scam people. Sometimes you just don't get the money, but you don't lose anything as well. So, basically, it is kind of profitable to participate in them.
It is great that you decided to explore airdrops and give advice on them. But what's from it for you? Why do you want not only to spend time on research, but also on formulating and making public the results? Perhaps some day you will find financial support for your actions if they turn out to help people a lot, though.
Good luck!

Many of the airdrops are shit. Many of them even after receiving them are worthless. I have participated in a whole lot of and I can't boast of $100 returns on them all. In fact, I can say many if not all are just a mere waste of time and resources. But I do know some good ones are still out there.

The whole world runs on advertisement dude. This is not a scam channel. It has value to people who want to minimize their effort finding potential airdrops. I put in my effort choosing good projects and hope to get some referrals in return (It's not solid, I took risks).
People joining the channel are kind of having a mutual agreement with me that we both benefit each other. Isn't that great? In this world you cant work as a lonewolf. If it turns out to be a success, a lot of people's time could be saved.

There are a few reasons, first I wanna be influential and provide useful information to people. The feeling of importance is great. Also, as I have put in my effort into research, I dont just want it to be used once, it's a waste of resource. And hopefully the referrals can provide me some extra income, but to achieve this the airdrop I recommend must have value in it. This guarantees that I would put my best effort into finding good airdrops.

Some airdrops are simply cheating people's contact information!

Even if you get a token, it's rare and worthless!

nowadays airdrops are popping up, and they are promising for profit but I think most of them are liars because lots of airdrops do not provide their tokens and on the other hand airdrops now use referral systems so it's very difficult to do it for some people.

It is a telegram channel but not a group. If it is a group, everyone will just post every airdrop in the group. My partner and I will do the screening job and only suggest valuable ones but NOT trying to post as much airdrops as possible like other airdrop channels. The aim of the group is for the members to freeload! :P

One other airdrop that I'm really happy I joined is EXRNchain. My holdings are worth about 700 usd right now, with another airdrop for coinholders coming up in March. I pretty much sign up for every airdrop, because even though I know most of them are not worth anything, a few come out to be very profitable.

I have been joining different airdrop telegram groups, yet most of them post as much airdrop as they can. I have to go through a lot of rubbish to find the golden ones. Therefore I have the idea of starting my airdrop channel to only provide quality airdrops with real potential.

https://t.me/simplecandy
Only the simplest airdrops with real potential will be announced. Simple Candy helps you get the best candies easily!

Feel free to join if you want to join airdrop with the least effort. :D

I already joined this man.

you should provide how you sort which one is legit and which one not legit.
i have been loss faith to free airdrop coz most of them only became trash at my wallet.
especially airdrop with referral system, full of cheater.

Basically the things that my partner and I look into are:
1) Usefulness of the token
2) Team
3) Active meaningful social media updates
4) Website general feeling
5) Whitepaper
6) Value of airdrop in USD

It is not rocket science. When most of the boxes are checked, we would consider it worth spending our time on announcing the airdrop and keep tracking of the progress.
If all the requirements are mentioned every time in the announcement, it will become annoying spam. Hence the announcement only consists of concise info.
There is no point for us to promote shit airdrops, knowing the community and us will get nothing in the future.
It is a trust on our decision, I am an ETN ICO holder and my partner is an early antshares investor.

totally agree with you.everyday 100+ airdtops offer free coins. But find a good &profitable airdrops is really difficult task.most of airdrops give us shitcoins. But I follow these telegram groups and find some good airdrops.

1. https://web.telegram.org/#/im?p=%40bitcointalk_airdrop

2. https://web.telegram.org/#/im?p=%40OFFICIALairdropalert

hope it can be useful for you.

Thank you! I have been subscribing to them for a long time. As far as I know airdropalert is the most popular one. It also has a pretty website.
The problem is they announce too much airdrops including worthless ones. People will soon be exhausted joining each one of them.
Ordinary people should not spend too much time joining many airdrops each day. I wish people could just spend a few minutes joining the good ones each day and make extra income after a few months when the token is listed.

Ok, I'm very grateful for the telegram group provided. I also regret that some of the airdrop I follow does not produce any results other than a worthless token. Some analysis efforts I have done to find airdrop that really has a good token. But still only 1 out of 100 airdrop make me satisfied.

That is why you have to do your research in terms of verifying legit or not at your level. In that way, you can lessen the scam airdrops that most of your time are taken. At the end of the day, you will be the one to choose if you are going to participate or not. But the concept of other members who subscribes to airdrop often doesn't matter if its scam or not for as long as they were able to enter, because sometimes the one that you don't expect seems to be the legit one.

This is basically the greatest explanation given here. There are 100s of different airdrops and most of them don't even pay single dime to joining people. (%80-90 is scam) So hard to choose one but it works if you can choose better one.

Thats true. So if there a good project who airdrop some coins or tokens, their just airdrop a small amount per participants. Mostly worth 10$, doenst matter how long you hold it. The time when there created such shitcoin like litecoingold and they get hyped and you can sell your tokens for 1eth is over. I have over hundert different tokens in my wallet which i received but they are worthless. So instead of hunting for airdrops, im now hunting for bounty campaign. You can earn a lot more on bounty campaign.

Yeah,I can't agree more. The bull market is over, and the golden time of the airdrop is over!
The free airdrop of really good projects is rare.
Most of them are legit, and they are useless!
Just a waste of time to get the airdrop!
Are you serious right now? Your statements are simply predictions without any evidence to back them up. There is no specific golden time for airdrops. It all depends on luck and research when it comes to earning big from airdrops. This entire crypto market is extremely volatile which means that any coin can go up or down at any point of time which is why I say that there is no specific golden time for airdrops. HODLING is the best strategy in this aspect according to me and many others which is why I advise everyone to HODL whatever coins they received through airdrops for as long as possible.

Agreed, there are few legit airdrops that are profitable but mostly are just created to scam. No value and only wanted for donation as they say to develop their project but nothing has happen. The best in here is search for a good feedback if their project is serious.

Of course some Airdrops are profitable but not all of them.
Airdrops aren't a good thing in Crypto Market because they are the reason why some people and investors are turning their back on Cryptocurrency.
Most of them are scams and just pretending that they could offer high rewards and profits to their investors but they're ended up into a failure that's why now I am collecting shit tokens in my wallet that until today didn't bump on any Coin Exchange sites.

Yes I will agree because we cant denied that in airdrops making people really interested to participate that's why theres so many also un legit airdrops to facillitate. The best that we can do that before we decide to joined the airdrop we must be an intelelectual alertness its because it is a serious matter including our investmet. And my suggestion that before we joined we should take a look and get research to avoid any problems.

Yes, airdrops are one of the best way to earn free tokens without any major time investment. But the overwhelming number of airdrops makes it hard for you to choose and know if which airdrops are worth your time and are legit because you may participate 10 airdrops a day and end up nothing from them.

If an airdrop isn't legit, don't you just lose your time? How is that a scam? If you're investing money then it's not even an airdrop, it's just another shitcoin ICO that has no real purpose. Most airdrops are just that, and airdrop to people who own either Bitcoin or other shitcoins to keep pumping out new coins that they can pretend are worth something. Just sell them all and keep collecting Bitcoins!

I cant be sure that everyone of the recommendation is legit. I did the background check, if they are not legit, they fooled me. It's inevitable, you will be fooled by a few projects from time to time. If you take a look at others such as bitsong and beat, you can see the ICOs are going pretty well, it will only be a matter of time before they are listed. Be patient, airdrop is an advertising technique by the projects to gain attention. You have to wait some time for the airdrops to be distributed.

As far as airdrop is consigned I will keep on applying to as many as possible  who knows at the end, the legitimates might be profitable, at least it  takes less than 2 minutes to complete an application, I have seen people who have earned reasonable amount  of tokens through airdrop and exchanged it to ethereum.
