YABTCL means Yet Another BiTCoin Lottery. But it isn't just another Bitcoin lottery system, it's the most complete provably fair lottery system available so far.

Let me point out its features:

Scheduled Lottery

Basic Functionality:
- The draws will occur three times in a week: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 24:00 UTC;
- In each draw 6 numbers in a total of 67 will be drawn;
- You can buy tickets that must have between 6 to 16 numbers;
- With each ticket you can win hitting 2 to 6 numbers.

Pools:
- The pools are created by the users;
- There are two types of pools: Share-a-Ticket and Add-a-Ticket;
- In the Share-a-Ticket pool, the owner buy the tickets and define to how many quotas the total value of the tickets will be divided. The owner can define a service charge for this type of pool.
- In the Add-a-Ticket pool, the owner define how many tickets can be added to it and how many numbers each ticket can have.

Draws:
  All draws are provably fair:
  - One and half our before the time of the draw, a file will be generated containing all the tickets that will participate in the draw. We will timestamp the SHA256 file hash with a Bitcoin transaction.
  - At the time of the draw, we will check the current Bitcoin block number and the next block will be used to generate the winning numbers;
  - The seeds that will be used to generate the winning numbers are: the block hash (lower case), the block height, the server secret and the sha256 hash (upper case) of the file with the participating tickets;
  - The winning numbers will only be published after the chosen block having 6 confirmations.

Instant Lottery

We now have an Instant Lottery. No more waiting a few days to see the result.

Here is how it works:

To play our instant lottery you have to choose 1-16 numbers from a total of 67 available. The prizes will depend on the amount of chosen numbers.

TRY BEFORE YOU PLAY:
If you want to try it before playing with real Bitcoins, you just need to check the option "Play for fun" and you will have 100 Play BTC to try the game and test your strategies.

AUTO PLAY MODE:

PROVABLY FAIR:
Our instant Lottery is provably fair. Before each game we show the SHA256 hash of the secret that will be used to generate the winning numbers of the next game.
For each game started, we follow the steps below:

    1-Concatenate the secret with himself;
    2-Generate the SHA512 hash of the string got on the previous step;
    3-Get the first 7 characters of the hash got on the previous step and transform it to decimal base;
    4-Get the remainder when dividing the number got on the previous step by 67;
    5-Add one to the number got on the previous step;
    6-If the number got on the previous step is not on the list of winning numbers, add it to the list;
    7-If the list of winning numbers has 16 numbers, go to step 11;
    8-Remove the first 7 characters of the hash used on the step 3;
    9-If the string got on the previous step has more than 7 characters, go to step 3;
    10-If the string used on the previous step has less than 7 characters, concatenate the hash got on the step 2 with the secret and go to the step 2;
    11-If the Auto Play is on: stop if one of the conditions is met, otherwise concatenate the hash got on the step 2 with the secret and go to the step 2;
    12-If the Auto Play is off, stop.

LOW HOUSE EDGE:
We have a variable house edge system varying from 0% to 1%.

REFERRAL SYSTEM:
Our multi-level referral system also works with our instant lottery. For each round played we pay 10% of the house edge for the first level, 8% for the second level and 7% for the third level. Investment Rules:

Everytime the jackpot for 6 hits is lower than 1000 BTC, the investment will be opened so we can always keep the jackpot for 6 hits with a minimum of 1000 BTC. Here are the rules:

When you invest, your credits will go directly to the jackpot of 6 hits, this means that when a player buy a ticket he is expecting to won exactly what is informed in the 6-hits jackpot, and also pools can be configured to be activated after the 6-Hits jackpot reach a minimum amount. If you're able to divest, players with activated pools and players with tickets bought expecting the informed jackpot will be disappointed. This is why I'm not allowing "divestments". But, in our lottery the house and the investors don't take risks as for every ticket bought we take out 4% before redistributing the remaining into the jackpots. And you will receive all your investment plus 50% in the end.

Approximately how long does it take to make %50 profit and cashout? Is it something like 1 year? A normal investment make about %10 per year so it takes about 4 years to make %50. But these are bitcoins so you can't know what will happen in that 4 years or even 1 year. And also as this is a new site, and not much trusted, we can't know what will happen to your site in 1 year. In my opinion you should lower the %50 if it approxiamately takes more than 3 months or so.

After you invested, someone bought a ticket for 0.01, you as investor will receive 2% of the ticket, so your account will be credited 0.0002 in the next top of the clock. Thanks for trying to explain.  I guess my confusion is this, how can investors lose?  Is the risk that on a six number draw where there isn't enough BTC in the pot so investor money is used that someone then wins the investors lose some/all of their funds?

Let me try to explaing using another word: Lending.

Our investment system works like a lending system. When you lend money to someone, the person will use the money for some reason. In the case of YABTCL, The money will be used to fill the 6 hits jackpot to attract players to the lottery. As the players buy tickets, the house will take 4% of the tickets as profit and half of the profit will be used to pay the investors that lent money to the 6-hits jackpot. The house will pay the investors every top of the clock based on the amount of tickets bought on that hour.

No, it's not a bug, when you play our free lottery, you have a chance to win hitting 2 to 6 numbers. In this case the last players won hitting 3 numbers, so the jackpot for 3 hit was reset to 0. That's the reason the jackpot for 3 numbers are higher than 2 numbers.

Sorry but the upper 0.01 withdraw limit were set after a series of tests and we can't drop it. The reason we have chose this value is the way our faucet works and the value we pay on our faucet.
