Based on a study the success rate of trading are the following:

Day Trading Success Rate                      = 5%

Day Trading Success Rate with a Mentor = 10%

Day Trading Success Rate: Men Vs. Women = 40% success rate for Women
                                                                   3.4% success rate for Men

Having this statistic why's is there many people still got hook up with trading? Is it the thrill of uncertainty excite us?

first of all it is not related with crypto exchange, it is with market exchange so crypto exchange is 3x or 4x more volatile than world markets.
So this success rate differs so much in crypto exchanges. Meantime you are able to find one coin in lots of market but you are not able to find one of world stock in a few market..

Having a chance to get rich is what people want. That's why many are trying, some are risking their savings to get a brighter future. It is human nature to greed for success.

Nice article. It proves to me that I've always been right about day trading and its uselessness.

The men vs. women thing was surprising, but if you read the article the sample volume for women is too small (4 women out of 10), so that's where the 40% thing comes from.

I think we may have moved from the era of holding to the era of day trading or at least swing trading. Rip HOLDing (2012-2017)

This is totally not making sense if we applied on crypto trading. It's really different compare to stock market trades.

And if it's about crpyto trading, what will be the basis for those percentages? How it can be monitored and provide those numbers?

Its hard to be a day trader but if you have the skill and take profit from it I admire those people. For me its better to hold it for a while and wait for the right time to take gains on it.

Yeah I agree that the day trading is not an easy job and most of the traders will fail in day trading.But I am wonders how women's success rate is more than the men. ???

Lots of people are making income only with trading so I think this statistics maybe wrong. :P

I don't understand why you write this post, every one has different success rate and success is relative. If you do that it will give you hard pressure into your mindset and strategy, it will give you damage soon. I do that a year ago and make stress because reach success rate is not easy and market not always in good condition. Hold is better than must reach success rate.

Thats really ridiculous out put from the world where we trade more than billions in the single coin like bitcoin. That sucks man! And wow man sucks a lot in the trading, I sure they are more emotional than woman which is why they are not giving the greater outputs. Anyways, this study clearly mentions that holding is the best option for us and if we hold then the profits are like ocean blue. I mean why not just take the on going example, those who kept trading when bitcoin was up and down might have lost huge amount of money due to low profit margin. While on the other hands, those who hold the coins though the bitcoin was low and even bought more than what they spent then yeah im pretty sure that they got more profits as compared to the traders.

Don't worry about the results (though it looks like fake) because we are cryptocurrency investors and not traders especially day traders. But that doesn't mean I will hold that forever. I will also take profits along the way because nobody wants to risk their hard earned money when the market is crashed. This is highly recommend way of investing as well as trading.

Day trading is mostly suitable for women because most of the mens are going to 24x7 work in outside world So mens are not suit for this platform. It is difficult to maintain a day trading in mens so I really appreciate this statistics of day trading and many day traders make huge loss also possible in the market this also one of reason to avoid this day trading for mens.

This is not accurate in numbers even you are pertaining to stock market trading those numbers isnt really reliable at all. 5% success rate is somehow ridiculous but somehow understandable yet day trading is very crucial and technical.If stock market do give you slow success rate how much more into this crypto world but i do still believe that there are more lots of hodlers compared into day traders.

Sorry dude your so naive to say that a lot of people earn in day trading. This statistic is came from stock market where volatility is less than the volatility in cryptocurrencies. I can't find study regarding the statistic of trader success in cryotocurrencies that's why this is only I share article.

The point of this post is to say that it is better to become holder of the coins for the long term rather become day trader. There are many people earning profit for the long term hold rather than day trading.

Finally someone here's get the point of my post. I was trying to emphasize that it is more reasonable to hold for long term in cryptocurrency given the fact that trading is not for everybody but it is certain that thru long term investing it is everybody's game. To become more stable market the crypto need larger composition of investor instead of trader's.

There are no statistics on trade in the cryptocurrency market but I know you will not be able to succeed in this market unless you invest serious knowledge and expertise. You have to be very good and professional if you want to invest long term in this market. Remember that.

The best way is long term HODL.

Exactly,,,I guess you are right. DAily traders can loose easily and that is if the traders cannot control their emotion and has only few things about how to trade. But if you will hold your coins, then you will ended up becoming rich and successful. 

Women are great traders because they have good instincts, combining that with enough knowledge, voila! A great trader it is. I believe that women can do what the man do. We fon't really know the population of women in this kind of world. Although crypto trading success rate varies from every person, we can surely say that the risk it high no matter whay gender. The market is volatile and there will always be fluctuations in price. Not all the time the market will be in favor of us.

Well it really depends on who is the trader im both a long term investor and a day trader. I have coins that i swear i will never move. It is just in my wallet and i will just keep it no matter how great or bad my trading goes.

Day trading is more profitable if you know what you are doing. Its really simple buy low sell high, if you can keep your emotions in check there will be no problem with this idea.

hahaha it depends on the patience you have, seen from women seems to have a very high patience and have a very sensitive feeling to make them know the right time to sell coins they have.

if you have the required skills for day trading it can be a lot more fun and in long term can bring a lot more ROI than holding in my opinion, I personally divide my portfolio into day trading and hodl.

I think the success rate when the commercial crypto in the past days is very high. We can see the price of bitcoin and altcoin have increased dramatically in the past few days and there is no sign of decline, so I think you should trade bitcoin right at this point. Buy fast, sell fast, surf short to reduce risk.

I think if you have a good understanding of the crypto and having sufficient knowledge of the crypto then the crypto trading is very fruitful and from this now we can earn much money because for this no hard work id required just to sit on seat you can become millionaire and this way we can now invest in this currency as well. With the passage of time the success rate of trade in crypto is increasing from minute to minute and all these happen in the market. It is very good plan to start the crypto trade and become the successful person in the future or we can say the second bill gate.

This value is extremely low, it proves that daily trading is becoming more and more unprofitable.

Well I think having two accounts will give you more advantage instead of trading accounts only. In crypto hodling the coins for long term gives more gains compare to trading this is based on historical performance of Bitcoin.

Well you should atleast say that some of us are not all traders. If you say that holders are the best its because you earn more and thats because of tge price value increase and will you do if your price value increase and decrease a little you trade it, you dont and cant hold it forever you know.


Well thats good you know Trading is good but sometimes it involves great risk OP. but in any case if one should/most be atleast updated if not it is risk at stake here as well. So it you lose you should know to learn from the mistakes.

Every traders has different level of understanding in every coins. For me the results is not reasonable to those traders i think they have high success rate as compared to your data. Anyway, whatever is the success rate the day traders has good profit in this business since it depends to your emotions and trust to your decisions.

When the market is shaking, going up and down, day trading can be the best strategy, my friend. It does not mean death. It is just some temporary policy.
