Guys, do you think this price will be still relevant this year? ??? :)

I believe that by the end of the year Bitcoin will be floating somewhere between $30K to $40k.

Bitcoin fell from $20,000 to $8,000. How will Bitcoin be $20,000 again ??

Well It's the best to sell @ US 10K  + Now and buy back on March 10th ~ March 15th as it will be the point of the TO THE MOON again;-) and the price will be way lower on 1~15 of March << mark my word :-) OTHERWISE Just HOLD OF COURSE BTC just started man For real it's just the start!

Price of bitcoin will be higher. But I don't know how much..

IMO, $20,000 shouldn’t be a problem by end of 2018. I feel that the price should be higher than $20,000.

there will bitcoin @ $50k! if you have bitcoin already keep it closer to yourself and if you dont have yet, try and get some before the big one

It almost did last year. It depends on how bitcoin will be affected by the factors that dictates the rise and dips of its price. This includes the law of supply and demand, marketing analysis, government interruptions, and etc. All we can do is wait and see, but ofcourse we are all waiting for that to happen this year, and wishing for a higher value. Remember that the market place is so big, and we can not actually see the ceiling or flooring of bitcoin's value.

Expectations indicate more, I expect the end of the year to be near 40-50K we need some liquidity and good news .

It could be more than that. Bitcoin has already built a good reputation in the crypto world and it is indeed one of the best coins so far, aside from it being the pilot. The pump would be late 2018. Let us wait and see. I, myself, is excited and thrilled on how bitcoin will surpass the current dip now.

Bitcoin already reach $20,000 last year and this year who knows what awaits for us but I am hoping it will break the $20k target.

There is a huge possibility that bitcoin's price will reach $20,000 because it happened last year, the month of November. Unfortunately, a sudden dropping of price also happened which make some people to do panic selling. However, there are some financial analysts who keep on saying that those are just part of the game and there's nothing to worry because in the history chart of bitcoin's price, a falling value in the market happened before.

I think it is entirely possible that the current price of bitcoin is limited to the regulatory policies of countries.
But it seems that countries are going to hold the G20 meeting, and they will talk about it together, and the digital currency will not be banned, and the price of bitcoin will rise further.

If the world regulators are loyal to bitcoin, large investment funds will join the purchases of crypto-currencies. If they invest even 5-10% of their assets in bitcoin, these will be significant amounts by the standards of cryptomir. In this case, $ 50,000 and $ 100,000 look quite achievable in 2018.

Oh I remember those forecasts and the thoughts about the price around 30000 USD to the middle of the year. It seems now like a fantasy. I think that Bitcoin will rise in some extent but it will not be a big growth.

It'll surpass $20,000 mark. My prediction to this will be $50,000 and up. Because of the higher demand prices will go up.

You can expect $25K+ at august/september.

At this moment price of the bitcoin is already 10,500 compared to the price last few weeks ago that down at 7000 . I hope the price will continue to increase the price and recover again from it's lose and become $20,000 again. I think this month or next month the price of the bitcoin become 20k dollars so better if you buy bitcoin now and for sure it will grow your money that you invested.

It's basically the major resistance that brought bitcoin down to less than $10k last time. Based on this recovery I think we're going to go near that figure this year once again and potentially challenge the old all time high.

How it's going to go though is unknown. It's way too early to tell at the moment. So there are no guarantees to if $20k will actually hit. We're on a pretty bullish trend right now and the run-up could take us to around $15k or so before a correction. After that correction, if the trend stays bullish, then we'll have a real shot at $20k.

to reach another $ 20,000 price it seems like bitcoins need very good info so they can trigger a bitcoin price increase or if not at least we can get good info every week for a gradual price increase.

I think that yes, we will see such a price. Well, for this we need time to think that by the middle of the year there will be such a price, we are getting patience and waiting

This market isn't good news driven anymore like how it was back in the days. Bad news however still seems to impact the market, which is quite ironic if you think about it. At this point it's fair to say that there won't be anything bullish that the traders can hold onto based on events and happenings, so the market needs to increase without any short term indicator. Looking at how the current market is moving, it's doing better than most of the people here would have expected. I hope that the current range plays out above the $10,000 level, which should give the market more confidence overall. It must have been a massive shock for people to see the market tank all the way to $6000 not that long ago, especially for those get rich quick minded gamblers. Bitcoin was supposed to shoot up to $50,000 in one straight line, but instead, it took a straight dive to -$6000. :D

yes, that is likely to happen because we have seen very good growth figures. now we are at $ 10,500 and will soon break the $ 11,000 mark
Every cloud has a silver lining, bitcoin has seen excellent performance. many people who can not wait to see bitcoin back to its glorious period and stabilize its price there, record new record number, we come !!!

The barricade has been break and now we are on 10800 price and I apparently believe that this pump will continue and maybe by early of this year we can see that bitcoins price recover back to its price or maybe it can reach the new ATH milestone of 30k$ per piece. Well I can say that those people who buy on huge dip earns huge money for this and hodlers where so lucky to hold their buckles.

to have a great price increase we need a lot of good news and this is something I'm not seeing this year I do not expect big price increases like we had last year, if you ask about what price we will reach until the end of the year, nobody can give you this answer, because nobody knows. worry about the current price and do not focus on the price you will have in a few months

Yes it will be I'm sure with the current increase it can surely cross that mark and some are suggesting in july bitcoin will reach it's highest price point ever if you are still waiting to sell then hold it you can surely get a higher price for it and don't worry about the price falling anytime soon it's surely ain't happening

   You do not see, but news are coming everyday, or you see but you can not accept them.
Big news push price up, bad news push price down what is new about that? Bitcoin already
have a big increase from last year. That is enough for me to know that Bitcoin can go up
fast if many people show interest, that is happening, people are showing more interest in
Bitcoin.
   Slow death I think different from you. You think and write "worry about the current price and do
not focus on the price you will have in a few months". I think that we should not care about current
price, that is changeable. Think about future and act like you know what will happen!

Yes. Hell we can expect more.
Every time bitcoin crashes big time, it's recovery stage becomes the best thing. The price hits another all time high.
Since bitcoin's current all time high is 20,000$ we can expect 30,000-40,000$.

But this crash did changed many things and reaching $20k mark is well far as well as also tough. Still $20k is still expected but I would say even this year we might not see $40,000 as you said.

Especially so for people who found it necessary to take out a mortgage loan to have all that invested in Bitcoin close to peak levels. I even read an article about a family having sold everything they had to have that money invested in Bitcoin. Lucky for them is that they did it before the crazy bull run of last year started, so they at least managed to make this stupid gamble (because that's what it is if you expose your entire family to so much potential danger) worthwhile. Investing with borrowed money is the worst possible thing that one can do, and in most cases it doesn't end well for people. People don't understand how brutal this market can be from time to time -- people aren't mentally ready to handle that in combination with borrowed money.

Many predict that we will see some bigger price this year some articles (almost all of them) suggest that price could be around 30k levels with few thousands up or down. With all this lines they suggesting we will see this peak on summer but i dont think we will see this price reaching this year.

$20,000 isn't a big price to be reached for this year. Just like last year bitcoin has increased more than $1,000 as this is the expected ending year price for it. And for this year it may take time as we are still on the 2nd month of the year but there's a possibility that bitcoin will be back on track with the price of $19,000 then to $20,000 and so on. But there are speculations that are even higher than $20,000 if it will break your expectation it might theirs too.

For Bitcoin to hit $ 20000, Bitcoin's exchange rate must exceed $ 15,000. If the exchange rate reaches $ 15000, then the Bitcoin exchange rate will rise to $ 20000 quickly, and now the Bitcoin exchange rate is $ 10800. Hopefully, in 2018, Bitcoin rates will reach at least $ 20000, so I can sell the number of Bitcoins that I am holding :)))

It is not difficult for bitcoin to reach the $ 20,000 level, because previously bitcoin has reached that level and i'm very confident in my prediction for this year "$ 22000 - $ 27000" is the best price, which bitcoin will achieve.

Very likely bitcoin will repeat its best performance as happened in December 2017.
I'm very optimistic bitcoin will reach $ 20,000 for 2018, and this will happen between the 3rd and 4th quarters.
There are 2 possibilities that cause bitcoin increments.
1. The amount of supply is reduced which causes the demand to increase,
2. The return of big players who will intervene to manipulate the price.

We saw bitcoin reach $20, 000 last year. And i think bitcoin will reach that mark again or higher than $20k. Lets see in the coming months what will be its value.

At this moment and based on what is happening right now in the market, chances are high that it will be reached this year. Its market value is now recovering from the crash lately. It now reached the 10000 USD mark and is continuously increasing. If nothing wrong wil happen, 20000 USD of market value is possible to be achieved by Bitcoin.

If year is a gap you are talking about, then expect bigger than 20k usd because bitcoin will go up more. Bitcoin will be up by 50k usd this year if ever :). So better hold your position in btc.

Why not it will not relevant this year? Last year bitcoin ath was hit $20k so this year it is possible it can surpassed from the last year price. Were also having a good news that the demand is increasing so this it I am in positive side bitcoin would be bigger this year value.

Yes but people need to learn to be patient, it was impossible to maintain that price now the next time we arrive at that price it will be with more sustainable growth, it is possible the price peaks a lot higher next time with the LN and then decreases again,  but we must learn that is just the way bitcoin moves and we must adapt to those movements or lose a fortune in the process.

Yup. I remember back in 2013 when SilkRoad was shut down by the FBI how this market can change in an instant from bullish, to a complete warzone where even bears don't want to be in. I bought LTC and BTC literally a few minutes before it became known that SilkRoad was shut down, which resulted in the overall market to tank like 40% in a matter of minutes. I went all in at that point, so there was no way for me to buy anything. I think it's safe to say that after that, I didn't gave a single damn about whatever corrections and crashes anymore. It also learned me to not invest with all your capital at once. It's a perfect demonstration of how a rather negative event makes you learn a lot, which I am very grateful for.

True, tho it might be easier to go from $0.1 to $1m but still in 2017 it went from $3,000 to $19,000 even for that short period of time. Absolutely, no doubt that bitcoin will pass the $20,000 price again and I'm pretty sure that we will brake the $50,000 mark this year. There are a lot of people pointing to the $100,000 mark, but that's kind of too much imo.

I think this year is a year full of bumps on numbers. but, this is from a luck. bitcoin prices will reach $ 20,000 in the near future and even an expert says this is a year that will be a lot of surprises
 a potential surprise against the price advance, we can see the current price, although up and down every minute but slowly the numbers continue to rise and rise.

I agree this year will be a big suprise in bitcoin market. A lot of supports to bitcoin and even continues on investing because many of us had trust on bitcoin future. This may reach to $20,000 so I am still waiting on it to happen.

Seriously, am I the only one getting tried of the questions of if bitcoin will reach $20,000 or $25,000 at the end of some month? We should just learn to be perpared of whatever price bitcoin brings. It is either you hold on to your coins or you sell it off if you are too scared. We should only keep in mind that no one knows the exact price of bitcoin so no matter how we keep on asking; we can't get a fix price of it.

I think price will be $100.000  end of 2018.

Most of the get rich quick noobs only care about what's going to happen next month. It's an obvious difference in thinking ability between the two main groups here, which are get rich quick noobs, and hodlers.

Get rich quick noobs are mostly those who have less to spend, and thus are looking for ways to book as much profit as possible, and that as soon as possible. Risk is something they completely ignore due to their greed.

The other group consists of hodlers having gained a decent bit of wealth throughout the years, and thus are comfortable hodling through for many more years to obtain the constant form of growth in wealth.

It's basically the same as how things go in the real world economy. Small capital focuses on the very short term, where big capital spreads out its risks and looks to book more consistent gains over a long period of time.

All of that already looks real and we can reach that level in some future time. Bitcoin prices have shown good progress to date, the price decline has been completed and is currently achieving a steady increase.

20,000$ is a rational value to achieve, if you see the statistics then there has been an increase of up to 4,000$ in the last 3 weeks.
This is a clear proof that the increase will be irreversible in some future time.

we must remain optimistic that this increase will continue to increase and increase, I'm sure experts say that in the year 2018 bitcoin prices will exceed the figure $ 20k.
I think this year we will see the price of $ 22k could even be more.

They are chasing their lambo's so they are worried on what will happen not only next month but as quick as tomorrow. They are all thinking that everything will be pumped overnight so that for a very short amount of time they can become rich.

I really agree with you, we have to keep thinking positive about bitcoin ..The $ 22,000 price achievement is easy.. I think in this year bitcoin will reach the price of $ 40,000- $ 50,000 after it is reached the price will not come back again because bitcoin will continue to increase I also think if bitcoin in 2020 will reach $ 500,000

Many say this or that but to be honest this year will be stability in price for this year. Maybe we will see some glimpse from last year price but think this year wont bring so much like last year. Hopefully we will see another peak next year.

well, expect this year bitcoin prices to reach $ 20,000, but see bitcoin prices steady $ 10000 to $ 11000. there may be significant developments in the future, and the great possibilities of bitcoin prices could be $ 20,000 or higher.

we also have to stay calm, because in this year also we will have little constraint on the way.

Those kind of experiences form your character not only as an investor but as a person as well, while I wasn't around when that happened I was around when this crash happened and now I'm sure that no matter what happens I'm not going to sell, in fact it surprised me that the thought did not even crossed my mind, so for all of those that had not experimented a big crash it will be a lesson they will never forget.

Given the past trend , i guess we'll touch $30k this year and $50k the next year

Of course, bitcoin this year will reach 20,000 dollars and even more. Last year, no one believed in such a rapid growth of the coin and I hope that this year bitcoin also surprise us.
