Title: unspent, but shows confirmed but is not at destination address
Post by: zeilercd on February 16, 2018, 02:37:31 PM
Hello - i had sent money on 2 occasions to a wallet
both show "unspent" on the blockchain but BOTH have many more than 6 confirmations, one made it to wallet yesterday, today's (larger) did not.
How can i "force" this to show in wallet, or "resend" it?
 15dL1MxXmUtw8ocy7PWuCktmBiB1yE6DQo is address sent to
I sent from my gdax account so unsure of "from" address ;)

Any advice would as to how i can get this to show up in my other account would be appreciated :)
And thank you!!!

Both transactions have 6+ confirmations and have reached address 15dL1MxXmUtw8ocy7PWuCktmBiB1yE6DQo

"Unspent" means that the value of the transaction is still at the destination address and has not been spent.

I don't see anything wrong here, both transactions reached 15dL1MxXmUtw8ocy7PWuCktmBiB1yE6DQo and have been confirmed but not spent yet.

Sadly, the 2nd one is not in available balance or even showing pending receipt hence my concern.
Thank you for the reply... not sure what to do ... guess all i can do is wait... but first one showed up when there was just 1 confirmation.. this one? it's just POOF out there somewhere :(

What wallet are you using for the receiving address?

Like Royse says, "unspent" is just an indication of where the coins are. In fact, if you never performed a transaction to send anyone coins but you see "spent" from your address, you should be worried!

Looking up your address on another blockchain explorer shows actually the same, that both transactions have confirmed and the coins are at your address. Final total balance unspent (available) is 0.0701055 BTC. Is that what your wallet is showing?

What wallet did you send this to? Was it a software wallet application? Or is it an "account" on a website like Coinbase or Poloniex or something like that?

If it was a software wallet, which one?
If it was a website, which one?
