That way you could include things like the Onda D1800, which is definitely a mining board but doesn't get lost in the clutter of the riser boards with 6 slots.

I still think how method to reduce a heat every GPUs an adjacent. the split the Power PSUs if I only have a maximal 1200W PSUs, how many should use relay tool such add2psu.

I also added my personal favorite: the ZRTK-21613 & ZRTD-101, which is a backplane with 9+1 slots and the actual motherboard is just another card that plugs into the "+1" slot. So when the motherboard fails, it's easy to replace, and the backplane has a negligible failure rate. No risers. Slots are spaced 50mm (I believe?) so there is a 10mm gap between GPUs. It's a motherboard+backplane configuration very similar to the ZRT except the motherboard is in the center, which makes more sense from a PCIe latency viewpoint. Cooling a chassis built around this backplane is also more even and a bit easier thanks to the mobo in the central position.

They are typically not very popular due to high cost per PCIe slot, however the dual-socket makes them attractive for concurrent GPU+CPU mining (eg. CPU mining Monero + GPU mining Ethereum.)

I actually can't find who manufactures them, so I'm marking them "OEM". K17 seems to have slightly less clearance between the PCIe slots than the K37. But the biggest differences are around power:

Slots 4 5 6 (from the right) seem digitally inserted. It's a wide area with no screw holes for support (flimsy), and the PCB/component layout is too repetitive. And the entire rest of the PCB layout (even the faintly visible traces) are strictly identical to the ZRTD-101... Lately I am thinking to build 8 GPU boards with PCIEX 16 slots like the Colorful one. I have never had any experience with these kind of boards, only board with risers but I think these should be even easier as should support the 8 GPU directly hassle free and without any X1 configuration in the BIOS.

Regular cards are hit and miss and work up to 13 cards in total.

RebTech seems to have existed since 2015 (http://rebtech.ro (http://rebtech.ro)) but they are now designing their own motherboard and even a custom GPU and they are advertising them on a new website (domain name http://rebtech.ai (http://rebtech.ai) bougth 2 months ago.) The mobo is very compact and has 8 PCIe slots exposed as USB ports (no need for risers on the mobo side). And RebTech also made a custom GPU with a USB port instead of the PCIe edge connector. So combined together, the mobo + custom GPUs (RX470 8GB) offers a completely riser-free setup.
