Coinbase already has over 900 negative reviews on trustpilot, that's over 80% of all their reviews.
I think there is no company on the planet that has such a bad review score...

First they blame VISA, now VISA blames Coinbase ;D

The problem starts once you start trusting a brick and mortar entity like Visa. The blame game is sure to come out.

Avoid Conbase. There are new reports that it has been overcharging some users and causing their connected bank accounts to be emptied.

Before all of you call out FUD, I know Conbase is not a scam. But they are very inept from top to bottom.

I take back what I said about Coinbase after reading an article (https://techcrunch.com/2018/02/16/visa-coinbase-not-at-fault/) posted in a thread in the Marketplace subforum.

Sorry Coinbase for being quick to point a finger at you lol. Its Visa's fault. There was a bug in their system that made it duplicate charges.

This could be the fall down of coinbase if they can't fixed or settle down this issue.

I have never liked Coinbase and with freaking out, I guess they are investigating it. Being an utterly centralized system, they are working on bringing something new to the Bitcoin/crypto community. Hated them when no Segwit, realized large scale operations takes time for implementation. They are yet to implement batching, but they are rolling it out.

Isn't BTC to USD volume one of the top, and isn't it Coinbase/Gemini one of the major exchanges, guess they have got no reason to compromise their credibility, too legit for that.

Would be vouching for a decentralized exchange, but for the time being it ain't really practicable, not convenient.

I guess they are a bit slow, but do respond.

No need to take back anything my friend :) If those overcharges were the only problem with Coinbase, it would be fine, but thousands of Customers have problems like me, I am locked out of my Coinbase Account for 3 months now and Customer Support is non existent. but still coinbase accepting new registration and not stopping their signups they want to scam more people hays lets stop using coinbase then I think they will stop too or else they will address a thousand bad reviews

I don't understand why people want to use credit cards to purchase bitcoin. The whole point of bitcoin is that it gets away from debt and horrid monopolies like VISA.

If you are an idiot who used a credit card to purchase crypto, serves you right for getting charged. You should have sent a cash wire to Coinbase instead.

Welcome to the world of crypto, where the unicorns and the most reputable corporate names associated with crypto can still pull in all the customers even with poor customer service, bad reviews littering the Internet and Bitcoin subforums, and every other newcomer asking about them here being warned off.

The likes of Coinbase have been suffering bad reviews for years! And yet they get every award, every media mention... even them delaying Segwit and finally getting it done suddenly gets media attention and they're the good guys once more for getting people cheap and fast transactions. Amazing isn't it?
