Why just not to be a little normal, first you see some real life, then paint a picture in your brain according to it. Many APs everywhere running on WEP - Wired Equivalent Privacy. Easy can be cracked without any skills in 10 minutes max. It is illegal to crack into others wifi unless they don't have any password protection. Also, there have been cases in some countries where, hackers have left a public access point in Starbucks and Cafes with a SSID similar to the well known one without any password protection.
