Title: Exodus Wallet Question
Post by: ZenMonke on February 17, 2018, 01:48:13 PM
Hi!

If I want to participate in an ICO such as Faceter, and they need an Ethereum address that is ERC20 compatible, would Exodus be a viable wallet. Facter provides a note below where they say 'Do not use your cryptoexchange ETH wallet address or ETH address created with Ethereum client with no access to private key.'

My question is: is Exodus Eth address a viable choice to provide to Faceter?

Tldr: haelp im noob

Exodus give you control over your private keys but you won't be able to see/send the coin in your wallet. You will need to export the private keys and import them to another wallet so instead, I suggest using Myetherwallet directly.

^What OmegaStarScream said. Exodus supports a lot of coins, including other famous ERC20 tokens. It would be fine for you to send ERC20 tokens on your ETH wallet on Exodus, but take note that Exodus gives you ONE recovery seed for all of your coins/tokens on your wallet.

it is maybe risky process. I you want to be aware from risks you can use https://myetherwallet.com. it is safe and support all tokens
