The whitepaper is almost empty. According to it, the website will apparently be educating new users about crypto and who knows what the coin will be for.

You could probably get that many coins, but it sounds like a lot of work.

As for the team: They have an entrepreneur (with an MBA), a project manager (with an MD), a master's level tax accountant, a legit finance guy, a top shelf developer that built oil/gas exchange projects, and a high end web guy that manages numerous blogs. Yeah, a total shit team. 😉

Angel investors would call that a "well rounded management team."

Well, not a scam in the sense that they would take something from you.

Rather a scam that there is implied value when there actually will never be any use, it'll just be like one of these old "chain letters" where you would read a friend "forwarding" a sob story FB post and it ends with "if you know or heard of anyone who got cancer you should forward this". It's just pointless spam and network traffic. I've seen a few of these the last few days.

You will probably not get harmed in any way, you'll just have some spam in your token list  :)

Well not so much shilling going on, that's the signature required by the DO airdrop. But hey, have fun with those tokens and let's hope they you will get some use out of them.

I got mine (a little higher gas price than some of the others since Cipher Browser's lowest is 1 GWEI). But on the website in the FAQ section it straight up says the token is an educational tool. I'm totally excited to use this to teach family and friends how crypto works. I wish it had been around when I got started. And honestly, most of the altcoins on here have less info and/or use than this.

Just found this and I'm very disappointed that I missed the airdrop. Watching this space.

Developers in white paper in the Basic Terminology section made some attempt to tell about bitcoin and etherium technology. But, the better their coin is from a technical point of view and how it differs - it is not written.

The team, talks in the interviews about making smart mousetraps, like somehow, they want to deceive investors. Find it weird someone claims to be vague in their ambitions, pretend to be non-profit for 50%, to be talking about making smart mousetraps to scam and deceive people. I think OCC are not to be trusted!

We aren't considered an investment.  We are a means of education in the cryptocurrency realm and development. 

"Original" has a lot of different meanings and we like to give it the meaning that we are 'unique' in the way we have approached the Cryptocurrency space

FUD is making criticisms that are baseless. The “Original” in Original Crypto Coin, stands for unique, not first.
 
And the project is very original in that it did the largest self drop in crypto at the time of launch. It’s original   because it’s not some overhyped vaporware or scam project.
 
OCC never sold a single token or made any requests for investments. The project is self funded.

it is worth noting that the road map is very correct. in particular, each of the stages is indicated, as well as the status of its completion, waiting or consideration.

So far, OCC is ahead of schedule on their roadmap. Many projects are late or don’t deliver at all.

Because we have done an airdrop..... -- I have been in dozens of airdrop most of these companies have no self-worth, and weak product of service... No preplanning, just impulsive behavior...

It is highly unprofessional to come over as overconfident, but got nothing real to back it up with, and a wrong premise to start anything in life.

You have opinions, good on you. You are just like everyone else.

It’s not a security, it’s a commodity. The projects states it’s not an investment. From their standpoint, it isn’t, as they never sold it.

The main function of the project always has been education, and they creating educational content, and are meeting their project milestones, ahead of schedule. Which is a lot better than most tokens out there.

Use cases are great, and they are working on payment gateways currently because they already have online retailers that have agreed to accept OCC as payment.  The token has been around three months and they have use cases about to launch; all that was done without millions in ICO money, by volunteers, in three months.

Really, what more do you want?

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission sets certain standards that individuals and entities must meet before they can become accredited investors. But what exactly is an accredited investor and how do they factor into the world of cryptocurrency?

The SEC Defines Accredited Investors
In Rule 501 of Regulation D of the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities and Exchange Commission outlines the conditions that people or entities must meet to be considered an accredited investor. These conditions exist because in the wake of the 1929 stock market crash and the resulting Great Depression, the SEC needed a method to distinguish those entities with a certain amount of risk tolerance who can protect their own interests in potentially high risk investments.

An accredited investor can include a financial institution like a bank, non-profits or private business development companies that meet the threshold of total assets. Individuals can also become accredited investors if their net worth exceeds a certain threshold. Those with a trust that contains certain assets can also meet the accredited investor criteria. By meeting these standards, accredited investors have essentially been vetted as verifiably qualified to invest in certain offering types.  Definitions vary by country, with the US setting out the following qualifications for individual accredited investors:

Big ups team for keeping your word. That is a sign of a team to be trusted with your investment. I believe in this project for some reasons: more than 50% of the total supply was shared amongst the community in self drop. The team is visible and consistently telling people not to join the project with the mindset that they are going hit it big with Original Crypto Coin tokens. The goal of The Universal Settlement Coin (TUSC) is to create a cryptocurrency which can serve as a viable alternative payment solution for industries that have challenges with traditional banking. Original Crypto Coin has recruited a new development team and many new advisors to oversee the transition to their new blockchain.

This Project is a community based project running the Graphene Blockchain with on-chain governance.
