XVG. Buy it now and wait for it to drop back down to 600 again then sell. Then buy again at 800 and sell again at 6. Pretty simple. Seems to follow this pattern almost weekly as of late. If you're trying to lose money, that's the best way to do it.

From the Top 100 list I really cannot see any coin going -1X unless something really strange happend like closing the project out due to regulations or a big scam coming up. Moreover I think many ICOs can go -1X, since the market is overflooded by them and some are even scams.

Some that gained a lot in last few days. any coin can get you lose so as any coin can get you profit. You just need to time it out. Easiest to lose money is to buy it at ATH and then sell at bottom.  Doing opposite of that will get you profit.   But this is called a gambling.

You can buy some bitconnect coins, those are about as useful as a fork of shitcoin. Or just wait for ripple to rise up to $2 and buy loads of those, then watch it crash back down to 50 cents :D ICOs with a hidden developer is also a bad investment. Without a public figure it can easily result in some type of exit scam resulting in a 100% loss. I think people will be more cautious now after the bitconnect scandal

If you're looking for some serious losses, then panic trading is a better option than simply buying the worst coin. If you pick an awful and madly hyped project, you can jump in right at the top of the FOMO train, and then instead of cutting your losses, just hold as the price drops through the floor.

Why would Envion be bad in long term? Plenty of people FUD around it, and I dont really know why.
Many of the ICOs follow a pattern:
Slight price increase at the beginning (Somebody dought EVN for 2$ at Token.Store)
Then the price drops.
Afterwards, the price continues as normal.
Also, Envion has to comply with plenty of regulations, as the company is based in Switzerland.
If they are really off grid, they can save the majority of the price of the power.
If not, they are "just" miners operating on cheap power.
So I cant see why their business model cant work out.

Well this is an unusual search for a person! The easiest way would be to go to announcements and find an ico which has a minimum if pages of discussion, terrible (no team, roadmap, investors) website (or none). Then you just give them money on the project and never even see it again. This way you lose everything fast and safe, and I guess losing more than that would be hard. However, this way doesn't fulfill a requirement of being in top-100.. As for that, no good candidates are there yet. You have to check coins in top-100 for the biggest ups on coinmarketcap, and if you see a coin 300%+ then just wait for a couple of days (what if the team'll pump it even more), make sure the project is shit and invest afterwards. Huge losses are guaranteed.

So try buying Bitcore (BTC). This is a shillers coin with not so serious developers, marketing etc. I can say if you buy this you would definately end up with some loss by holding it for the next months. Anyway good luck! Happy losing!

You should keep an eye on PEW coin, which costs exactly 0 eth, so inherently ist worthless, you just need to pay the gas fee.

I think NEM and IOTA are quite overpriced right now, compared to their supply.

I think the coin that can make you poor is XVG, the project is the same as the others, not very good and not too bad too, but the demand is a little, which means that few investors join, so xvg become less popular and less potentially among altcoin users. From the negative impact that is caused hargan xvg hard to rise from the forecast, even down from the last ICO price. so be careful in investing altcoin if you do not want to lose. thank you

Even the top listed coins show signs of price drop often, so becoming poor buying and holding bitcoin and other digital currencies is very simple and a possible fact. Here lucky people get rich holding the asset expecting the downfall in value as the market is completely unpredictable.

Check out Shift, Lbry Credits and Viacoin. I find they are being overlooked and have great potential, if they achieve what they are trying to achieve, they could shoot through the roof.

Those coins in top 100 that your saying are considered secured. Coins that will make you poor? Those are the coins that you get but not even listed in market and dumped. Worst isn't it?

Well, In fact we do not know what will happen in the future but we give some expectations that may be achieved. As well, It is very difficult to know which currencies will fall significantly or which will make you poor if you invest in them.

On the other hand, In logical way, I expect that the majority  of currencies  on Top10 are profitable for a long term ( like, Bitcoin, Ripple, Ethereum, Litecoin, Cardano..) but may be there will be some surprises.

Furthermore, after the  Top 15 or 20 ,there are  some unsecured currencies ( for trading or investment) are  unprofitable in a long term like, Lisk which had declined completely after being very acceptable in value or price.

outside things like bitconnect, stuff like this take the cake. (not to be confused with DENT)

for now I think I will mention ripple, because I have lost a lot of funds from ripple and it can be said that more than 30%. but for the future I am still unsure of the ripple so I left it.

If you really want seriouse and top 100 coin base on marketcap at coinmarketcap.com try one of these coin which i though its very undervalue :
1. Genesis vision : launch of apps is near arround first of april
2. Litecoin : it is still under value in my opinion could probably goes to $200 soon.
3. Neo : its also still under valur
4. Monero it has been going down since the delay of hard fork but its good time to buy

Check cryptopia, there are lots of delicious coins which will give you diarrhea in a couple of months!

Try to find some cheap coins that you can only buy with dogecoin or ltc on exchanges, try to pick the ones that have the most pump dump percentages...
There are great coins which will be kicked out of exchanges and become inactive which will make you LOOSE 100%, SOUNDS GREAT RIGHT!!!


When I was a crypto newbie, I did my best and picked Ember coin! Got myself some ember around 50 bucks (as far as I remember, I can be wrong)
3-4 months later it got DELISTED!!!! SO HAPPY!

Choose these which were most pumped and hyped especially these which rised in late 2017 there is still chance that they will fall much ;) Unfortunately i saw that even some shitcoins can be profitable they wont die and they are pumped time by time - these arent for you.So be carefull in your choice and always try to buy on peak ;)

For me dude there are no specific coin that can make you poor, for example to bitcoin if you buy some of it at the highest peek, and if you sale it when the market red, in that case you already loosing some money by doing that  :(

Shitcoins such as the doge or tron, pumps of the type of various forks, even eos can be attributed to coins which will continue to fall off. But there are still a lot of muddy coins with an unknown future, but so far promising. So that you have enough to zero.

Actually, Doge has been quite stable. There is 0 expectation for it to perform, nobody takes Doge too seriously. It's still used as the native currency in some exchange trading pairs, which helps stabilize its value as well. In fact, I think Doge is due for a pump later this year as well.

Tron and Verge can really make you poor, in my opinion.

Both projects are so overhyped. They may be good technologically but honestly, speak to any brainwashed Tron or Verge believer, they claim that it's the best thing that ever existed. Both coins are pump and dump coins that just end up being really high up in the market cap list because of the hype alone. I definitely wouldn't recommend investing in either coins to anyone, even if they may make short term gains.

In my opinion, you should look for threads such as this but the opposite, who are guaranteeing x1000000% profit gains and buy those coins that are listed there. Pump and Dump play is very common on those threads which will very likely make you buy on the top and sell at the bottom. Buy High, Sell Low! Check out BUZZ, been dead for a while, it needs CPR.

Seems like this is a filthy rich man who do like to become poor because lots or most people here on crypto do died of to make profits and now hes asking for which coins.

Then i would suggest for coins which arent moving at those coins are listed top 200 on CMC or even more lower. Just stick to erc20 tokens because they do mostly die in the end.If you are in a hurry then you can cash out to fiat then burn it all.

In this market any coin could make you poor if you panic sell. Sure bad bets in my opinion are :

 - EOS - can't even reach consensus for Mainnet

 - XSpec/Deep Onion / XVG/ Any Privacy Coin - Privacy coins can only go so far before being slapped with regulations. Scared investors = no investors

 - ETN/Overhyped ICO coins & tokens - The devs got their money. They're off sipping pina coladas in paradise with their ICO billions, not coding 24/7 as they claim to be.

 - Anything that was promoted by ultimate shiller-for-hire John McCafee

 - WAVES/ 0x/ any coin offering a Decentralised Exchange. I love the idea of a DEX, but I firmly believe the general public are not ready. To paraphrase what John Oliver said, crypto is everything people don't know about economics, plus everything they don't know about computers, combined. If we really want trading volumes to pick up, then market to the masses. Not the experts. The experts already have their money in crypto.

 - Dentacoin. 'Nuff said  ;D

Personally, I think it will be Ripple. Maybe it will be on top for a year or so, but sooner or later everyone will ubderstand that it's a shitcoin itself.

Maybe you are already a lucky one holding an absolute shitcoin that will make you poor really soon. I think they really know something about crypto, as they are quite accurate about XRP being centralized shit.

This is right, the main point is to see what coins people are not interested in or think is a bad investment.

Vice versa, many people support Dogecoin. I do not think that if you invest in it you will lose all of your money and become really a very poor person.

Dogecoin will die eventually but no one knows when.I certainly wouldnt short it or anything like that because memes stick for awhile.

But the truth is that no one talks about real shitcoins and projects with not that obvious scam signs. And these projects are most dangerous and tricky ones, as many investors still don't lose their faith in these projects.
In this thread we talk only about obviously scam projects or just about project we personally do not support. It's not a secret that there're a lot of XRP, EOS, BCH haters, hah.

For me Oyster Pearl and Electroneum were right choices lost something like 95% on them.So just buy some shitcoins which you even dont trust buy them when market is on ATH and "HODL" them for long time - and you have 90%-100% lose guaranted ;)
