Post by: VoskCoin on February 18, 2018, 02:50:57 AM
Innosilicon A4+ Scrypt LTC ASIC Miner review, covering the basics of the effective hashrate, power consumption, running the miner on 120v and 240v electric + above all comparing the Innosilicon A4+ vs the Bitmain Antminer L3+. Inno has also released their new scrypt miner the A6 1.23 gh/s Scrypt ASIC miner that is really just two a4+ strapped together. . Miner mines Litecoin, Digibyte, Verge, GameCredits, Dogecoin and several other crypto coins!

Thanks to Mining Cave for allowing me to purchase a single miner when Innosilicon had a 50 MOQ - https://goo.gl/YVDq3S

how much is Innosilicon charging for the A6? Bitmain Antminer L3+ are really cheap now, less than 150usd/pc

@ klintay  I will check on this.

http://www.innosilicon.com/html/a6-miner/index.html

3000 usd

but the L3+  most be aquired second hand  at about 100-150 usd on ebay

99 + 10 = 109
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Bitmain-Antminer-L3-504-MH-s-USED-LESS-THAN-3-MO-WORKS-PERFECT-NO-PSU/233135144520?

125+ 0 to ship or best offer I got 2 from this guy  110+ 110 = 220
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Antminer-L3-504MH-s-Litecoin-Miner-NEW-In-Hand-US-Seller-Fast-Shipping/223372613479?

I then used the free voltage software  to drop watts from 800 to 700

I mine 1000mh at 1400 watts

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3546316.msg36338080#msg36338080

so if you want to mine LTC  get 2 used L3+ use software from above.

then go to this thread

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4974036.0

buy one from him.

here is my logic  he made the pair of L3+  use 200 watts less  so his new miner uses 100-120 watts since he saved you 200 watts  on that pair of L3+ this miner uses - watts  100 -200 = -100 watts.  or 120 -200 = -80 watts.

If you point his new miner to a solo ltc pool http://ltc.tbdice.org/users.htm  it is actually miner there for free.

then point the 2 l3+ to viabtc  earn both doge and ltc.

the full power foot print is 700 + 700 + 100 = 1500  to maybe 1550  and you are endlessly mining solo for free power or actually for - watts

due to the voltage software.

I know many people would say wtf did I just say sound like BS.  Well it all depends on how you look at it.

A) 2 L3+ = 1600 watts without his software

B) 2 L3+ and the new Apollo = 1500 watts with his software

A) hash is 1000 mh at viabtc for LTC and DOGE
B) hash is 1000 mh at viabtc for LTC and DOGE and 100 mh solo pool tbdice  LTC DOGE

cost is 220+300 = 520

cost for the innosilicon is stupid at 3000

I cant believe you are promoting BEAM and dont make a big headline about their 20% DEV TAX competing with ZCash to become the #1 greedy business. I hope the Beam team doesnt plant backdoor bugs in their code like Zooko does.

Random to post in this thread about Beam . . but since you brought it up I highlighted their dev tax more than anyone else through my video on their emission rate and write-up on it. If you don't like beam dont cry to me about it lol -- I just cover content I find interesting.

Agreed, should be nearly illegal.. Being in their position they cannot really claim ignorance on it.

that miner efficiency patch is gold I tell you
