The most obvious personality is "satoshi" but there are others linked to the promotion of Bitcoin, Crypto and the Blockchain. Does anyone contribute to this list with a name and a mini-description?

If you're looking for particularly early users, you could have a look at satoshi's post history (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3;sa=showPosts) and the other people that posted - people like Hal Finney, theymos, Gavin Andresen and Sirius were around at the time. Observing the list, it seems that many figures were already relevant before bitcoin. They are very successful in this market although each one develops in different directions.
