I want to see your opinion on what is currently the best Cryptocurrency for you right now that is below 1$. Some of the options I included previously crossed above 1$ during the December Bull Run and all of them are now back below 1$. Voting and explaining why you chose that cryptocurrency will truly be appreciated as it will open up a conversation.

Note: If you think none of the options are the best. Post something about the cryptocurrency and I will include it in the Poll (If a lot of you posted the same Altcoin).

On your Options, XLM (Stellar).

ADA and TRON are overrated and overpriced.
XEM is constantly having problems.

I think ADA and TRX are good projects in two. The other is not bad, but only the old ones.

Why does dollar value matter? the marketcap is far more important.

Best altcoin priced under $1 is probably ADA in terms of use cases etc. Best to invest in is almost certainly not any of the ones you mentioned as they've all already grown so much. There are going to be coins under $1 who perform as well or better in 2018 than the 4 you've suggested did in 2017.

Finally someone with the same opinion about TRON & ADA. They don't even deserve a place in the top 50 by marketcap until they are able to prove to deliver & stick to their roadmap.

Personally, i put a lot of my savings into Stellar, so it will definitely get my vote. It has a similar product to Ripple, but a more secure & handsome code.

You are right but there are so many Cryptocurrencies out there. Would you mind contributing the other Altcoins you are saying? So that I can include all of them in the Poll. I only added TRX, ADA, XLM, and XEM because they are currently in the top 20 in terms of Market Cap. And in terms of my knowledge about Altcoins I don't know that much, more importantly I am not aware to some lesser-known Altcoins that have massive potential.

This coins is good, but I choose XLM (Stellar) and maybe ADA (Cardano). I think each of these coins will grow some X  in this year..

I've been looking at Zilliqa and IOST just in case the technology behind them does get seen as a breakthrough. A lot of the coins already mentioned in other posts are probably good in the sense that they are well established with a very big support base at the very least.

All the altcoins that have been added to the polling list were good for long term holding purpose. Each has got its own platform to grow. As the world has been getting more real time implementations of cryptocurrency related projects surely growth is assured for majority of the altcoins.

You are asking the wrong question, and the people answering you don't even understand why it is the wrong question, so I definitely wouldn't listen to their advice. You should be asking about market cap.

Market cap is the individual coin price multiplied by the number of coins in circulation.

It doesn't matter if a coin is "cheap" at $0.40, if there are 25 billion coins in existence (ADA, for example). It is already overpriced at just $0.40, because the market cap is $10 billion.

Compare this with XMR, which although $320 a coin, only has 15 million coins in circulation, and so the market cap is half that at $5 billion.

As a footnote, ADA have consistently failed to deliver on their roadmap and TRX is plagiarized.

I believe in the future of e-commerce business will grow and must require a decentralized payment provider. There is one alt that interest me, he is monetha. Currently its price is $0.18 and has been listed in many exchanges. Next month its mvp will be launched and i will see how the market reaction to its mvp. My expectation is monetha can be a rival of paypal.

What matters with any coin is not an arbitary price below x$ but the supply and demand. We could make similar assumptions on coins below $5 or 50 cents. Such a price has no bearing on future price of coin.

My preference is TRON. The main reason why the price drops too much. If there is only positive news, it will return to its former level.

TRON atm since it's so cheap. Upcoming Mainnet launch plus coin burn by the end of Q3 and a super open team. In the latest stream they even mentioned that mainnet could possibly be released early.

All those coins in the poll are way overpriced, considering they haven't dont much yet compared to bitcoin and ethereum.

in your 4 choices , i will choose 2 - ADA and Stellar .
TRX is highly overpriced , and nem would be my choice but there is also a reason why its price is low , bcoz it have backend issues .

so 2 - stellar and ada will be my choice .
if choose only one then stellar i would recommend .

Interesting it seems like you have different opinions on the Altcoins I have posted. I really want to make a research more about it.


I know that they will be highly overpriced once they reach a 1$ value but the best example of it is XRP which is currently sitting right now at the 3rd spot in terms of market cap. When you look at XRP it overtaken Ethereum when it had reached the price of 2.5$, one proof that even highly supplied cryptocurrency can still go up.

From the whole list of coins, in which each is really unique, ADA is the most suitable for me. I believe that this coin has good liquidity and demand in the market, which means that it will not keep itself waiting and will grow, thereby attracting even more investors.

My choice is Cardano. I think ADA is the most developable and trusting.

None of these coins are worthy. Similar to ripple these coins' communities are filled with "let's make quick buck" type of guys. Anyways I would prefer to choose ada from this list I am wondering what are they going to do in future.

If possible buy ADA or XLM. both really good. And of course keep away from the TRX. It's a big scam project of justin sun. stay away as possible

My choice...altcoins having idea, team, results (at least small at this moment;-), progress, communication and hopefully bright future... but who knows, maybe I will cry :D

It's really hard to say, there are so many with big potential. Zilliqa and Verge are two that I'm watching quite closely. Even then it will probably be some other coin that I've never considered much that will really do well.

Had to vote stellar as it has working platform with already completed icos. Lower marketcap than cardano for example and FairX. Easy choice for me.

I wan't to vote nem but stellar looks more promising with more active development and partnership. Lightning network, dex, and rumor like banks in my country will adopt stellar system
