Title: [raffle] 2017 1/10 oz American Gold Eagle Coin (BU)
Post by: FFrankie on February 19, 2018, 03:30:26 PM
I love raffles, and when I first joined this fourm there were a ton of raffles for the $10-$20 per spot but now they are few and far between so I figured there were others out there that like to gamble little bits.

So this auction is for

https://www.jmbullion.com/2017-1-10-oz-american-gold-eagle/

We will use the VIA blockchain to determine the winner, once all spots are paid for a future block will be picked in an uneditted post and the last character in the hash of it determines the winner.

The winner then PMs where they would like the item sent to and I place the order, so shipping is only U.S. addresses

Local rule: anyone that has banned me from bidding on their items or participating in their raffles is not allowed to enter. WritingG is also not allowed

I am rounding the price of the item to $152, which divided by 16 comes out to $9.5 per spot.

NOT ACCEPTING ANY OTHER CRYPTO CURRENCY

Payment can be made in BTC
Payments are refundable (refund equals BTC sent minus the tax fee it costs to send it) (refunds are only given if you can sign a message from the address)
If BTC goes up between the time you send the BTC and the time the raffle goes off, you get a refund. If BTC goes down and the auction if filled you are required to pay more so your total spot per ticket equals $9.5

I cannot because I would have to ask you to overpay in grlc so I could sell it on an exchange and use that BTC as part payment for the coin.

how many of these raffles would you be willing to do? because I wanted to always have one of these running

Why do you raffle off items that you don't own? Seems weird to me.. First we'll have to wait for you to buy the item and receive it, and then you ship it to the winner ???

Here's an amazing concept, I ship it to the winner from the website. It must be very hard for you to think logically

Can they ship worldwide? If shipped outside of  NA, VAT & Import charges will be added.. perhaps add that to the OP, or are you the only one who should not have to think logically?

The OP still doest state a price for a raffle spot in Bitcoin....   Payments are non refundable ... Sounds scammy

This thread should be moved to the Gamblers section .. please do so...

Bitcoin price is not constant so it is stated in USD.

Deleted the payments non refundable, they are now refundable that, refund equals sent BTC minus the tx fee to send it back. I had that clause on the silver raffle, which is because the deposits are going into a hot wallet and the withdrawal fee kills any type of refund.

So do you call the forum USDTalk.com? At least stop being lazy and pretend you believe in BTC by using the priceimage code here - https://btc-priceimg.herokuapp.com/   ::)

I had to dig through the butterzones posts to find the link for that. Aready updated the OP before you posted it.

This auction was just for me to gamble nine dollars and 50 cents not a penny more not a penny less. If I lock in a BTC price and BTC price goes up or down it would not be fair

Still taking garlic?  Just asking as it appears you have a payment address still up for it.  If so, put me down for 0 and b.
