Title: Need up to 10 ETH for 90 days. Post by: thinklab71 on February 20, 2018, 06:00:17 AM I need up to 10ETH for 90 days. I have BTC tied into crypto21.net in my investment account and they said they can escrow the funds in your name till its paid back. Just don't want to miss the rising prices in BTC. If the loan is not 100% paid back in 90 days, they release the difference to you.

If the loan is not 100% paid back in 90 days, they release the difference to you. The process that you want is complicated because the 3rd party (escrow) that you want to be included in the transaction is not known in this forum. Even if you hand over the access to your Crypto21 account to a known escrow in this forum, lenders will not accept it as a collateral since account access can be recovered with just a few back and forth email from the site owner. I am not saying nor implying that you will run away but of course people here wants their money to be safe too. Maybe you can offer other collateral aside from this.Title: Re: Need up to 10 ETH for 90 days. Post by: thinklab71 on February 20, 2018, 07:02:57 AM Never thought of it that way.

No, they freeze the funds from my account and put it in yours but it is locked till the expire date. You don’t get access to my account. They put the tokens in your account on hold Title: Re: Need up to 10 ETH for 90 days. Post by: Murat on February 20, 2018, 07:43:49 AM Never thought of it that way. They put the tokens in your account on hold You see, here is the problem with your request: the collateral is freezed by a third party. No lender would accept this as collateral because it defeats the purpose: The collateral should be easily liquidated in the event that the value drops bellow a certain amount (eg: 105%). If you could transfer the collateral directly to the lender (if it's trusted enought) or you could use an escrow from this forum, then surely you would get some offers. Title: Re: Need up to 10 ETH for 90 days. Post by: warningsigns on February 20, 2018, 10:54:36 AM Sounds dangerous. I would advise strongly against taking this form of collateral. Exchanges are usually neutral and will not intervene in or interfere with external loan matters. I have never heard of an exchange offering to freeze assets, let alone an account, in favor of a lender.
Why can’t you send the BTC from that exchange to a trusted forum escrow? Why is it tied to the exchange? I don’t understand what you mean by locked till the expire date. Sounds very unsafe. Post by: ThatRandom8543 on February 20, 2018, 07:40:44 PM That site was registered late last year, with very little information. The business name "CRYPRO21 INC" isnt coming up on Colorado business search which tells me the whole thing is a fake. If they are registered they should state where but based on everything im looking at, I wouldnt trust that site at all.

Just a couple months old, and they claim to manage tens of millions of dollars in coins. Riiiiiiight. ;) |
