Title: "Replies to your posts" list change request
Post by: al1n on February 20, 2018, 10:18:13 AM
It would be nice if the list that appears with you click on "Replies to your posts" link could have some additional options.
I miss the most the possibility to ignore some threads in which I posted long ago and now I don't want to follow them anymore.
The only way I found to do this is to delete my posts from those threads, but that doesn't make any sense.

Maybe this can be implemented by having a time range (some number of days, either fix or settable by the user, counted from the last time you posted in that thread)
in which you can see the link in that list; after that period the link doesn't appear anymore if you didn't post anything new in that particular thread in the meantime.

Another option would be a button on link level (row) to explicitly ignore that thread, but I guess that would be harder to implement.

PS: If the option is already there and I just didn't see it, please forgive my ignorance.

Maybe you should start using Watchlist  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=watchlist) instead of "Replies to your post". It would provide you with notification whenever there is a new post on thread that you follow (watch). Also, you can delete thread from Watchlist. That way you can keep up with new threads, and remove old ones from the list. Check settings for more information.
