Monero is the favorite of dark web. If used correctly it is indeed the most anonymous coin.

Anonymity and decentralization are the basic principles of the cryptocommunity, but the governments of many countries are quite justified against certain coins, because of the large number of crimes such as financing of terrorism and the taking of bribes are done with help of these anonymous coins

I would not say that 2018 is the year of anonymity. Not everyone is a fan of anonymous transactions, but such coins also have popularity and a method for existence.

i don't see any reason for anonymous altcoins to become any more popular than normal in 2018. they have certain audience and as time goes by they increase their popularity by a little, specially old and good coins such as Monero. but not much is happening that can change that. the article is also mostly explaining and introducing these coins, i still don't see any particular reason there either.

I'm not so sure if 2018 will be the year of privacy/annoymous coins.
I think there will be a lot of new platforms this year that allow developers to create basically everything, these platforms will be very popular.

I'm a fan of DeepOnion! This project is great! They have an awesome team, project, and community! They are working on stealth addresses as we speak! They have a great Airdrop program, and are always doing giveaways! Lots of stuff to attract people! I definitely recommend to go check it out at the very least! It's a great privacy coin. And not to mention, it's going at a great discount right now!

Anonimous concept is better because it is protect the users identity. Anonimous coins will prevent its user from identity theft.I like to use bitcoin because I can use it anonimously, my friends don't know that I have a lot of money now..

I think in 2018 year both of them will have a progress. Both of coins have their own auditorium and that's why both will rise up but in different ways.
It's a good question in which sphere to invest? Because not all gov of different countries supports crypto, so will see in time.

In 2018, XMR will overcome the mark of $ 1100 , so I advise you to have time to buy this asset until he began his flight to the moon

The possibility of absolutely anonymous transactions allowed Dash and Monero to get into the TOP15 coins on a coinmarketcap and I think their capitalization will continue to grow in the future.

I think so. We've not seen much growth from the anon coin sector last year so I'd expect some growth this year.

People have started to realize that government regulations can seriously affect cryptocurrencies, and anonymity is just as important as anything else in crypto. Monero, zcash, etc., all provide that anonymity that can bypass any government measures to limit crypto usage.

As that fact catches on, we can see a decline in popularity for smart contract or token creation platforms, and a shift towards simpler, more efficient anonymous altcoins that is actually needed.

A very useful article especially for newbies, because it is written in an accessible and understandable way. Great anonymity is often used by criminals, among which Monero is a very popular.

PrivateSend in Dash is a very convenient feature, I think that it's best when certain functions can be included additionally, it's much more convenient

Thing is there are no "years" in crypto. There are more like months or even weeks.  At some point of year anonymous coins gets popular. It happened in August 2016 and smaller spikes were n May 2017, August 2017 and December 2017.  I do expect several smaller spikes in 2018. Probably also a big one. Which month? Who knows.
