I like your list and glad somebody think just like me but the one question - why ETH? Everybody knows ETH is a great coin but in my opinion "to the moon" means rapid increase of the coin price (like in 100% or higher). I don't really think ETH will increase it's value in 100%. Not telling ETH is bad but not so ... "jumping".

I'm agree that Iota and Eth will on top, besides I believe in Dash, Neo and Monero bcz these coins seem pretty solid.

Looking at the comments so far, Waves until summer? Do you believe that? In my opinion Waves is only for the end of 2018, now, Ethereum, Neo, Ethereum Classic, Lisk and Qtum, can have a big increase in their values in this summer, just looking at the recent graphics and news.

Hello, from what you suppose, I personally count on Stellar, IOTA and Ethereum Classic.

I would only agree on the 3 coins ETH, Waves, and IOTA due to it's track record on the cryprocurrency market where it has maintained it's positive trend leaving a level of confidence on the side of the investors. Currently, I would add 2 coins to make it 5 on the best coins to grow progressively and these are Nano and Neo because these 2 coins I believe has a positive and stabilized mark in the last couple of weeks making it my choice for investment in the coming days. I'm still looking for another pump on bitcoin in the coming weeks such that altcoins will again pump as well.

Moon for the biggest coins has already been reached (for lots of lucky people at least), so I will choose smaller coins with greater x potential:

I have my own list. My list includes the following:

Of course, it is expected that Bitcoin will be far more active starting in the month of March until it finally breaks its previous record that was made in December of 2017. Ethereum is the second coin that will make great flying records. That is the most anticipated coin in the year 2018. Can't wait to see the coin climbs higher and higher in the charts.

I agreee that ethereum and waves coin will increase more in the future.  Even waves is decreasing for sure it will increase again they need only time and more investor to become more successful in the future.

I add three also not in list.  You can try to buy litecoin,  qtum and taas and for sure you will gain a lot of profit.  You can get more profit if you buy more. And don't mis yhis opportunity while the price is very low.

I prefer to trade post-ICO tokens. Some great coins/tokens I know of are:

5. Ethereum: Great blockchain & there are tons of ICOs putting their tokens on it. Its popularity has grown very high and it's probably growing even more too. A pretty safe choice overall, I think.
4. IDH (IndaHash): A great token whose ICO has recently finished. It will be integrated into the app soon in March and more great events are bound to take place this year or the next, which will drive its price to great heights. It's currently available for a pretty cheap price. It will be listed on more exchanges soon too. Very responsive team too.
3. Litecoin: A great coin. Bitcoin has grown to insane heights, but Litecoin has just as much potential.. Or even more! Cheaper & Faster transactions and an actually intelligent community allow it to be a much more reliable coin. Growing acceptance across the internet too. Definitely a good pick.
2. CHI (Chimaera): A gaming blockchain. Though it has some competitors, this project has the most potential in my opinion. It has succesfully completed its Private Pre-sale a couple days ago and is soon opening its Public sales. It has a very responsive team too. I recommend looking into it.
1. RC (HasHRush): A token made for a game. The game itself will release in Q3 2018 and has shown itself in the Pre-Alpha. Currently, the token is available for a very cheap price at Etheredelta (Just search for "RC) or ForkDelta. It's undoubtedly going to grow a lot once we get closer to Q3 2018.

I would rather say nothing to this as everyone are posting their own holdings a hoping their coins will mooning soon. Of course, I believe on my coins that's why I'm holding them and the least that I can do is by following their project like what phases are done and by that we can speculate what will be happen soon.

The coins with the highest market cap aren't necessarily the best coins... I mean.. Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash are in the top 5 coins, if you'd rate them purely by market cap.
However, would you say any of them would moon? Their growth potential is very small, due to their high market cap. It's the smaller coins, which will give you a lot of profit.

Tokens/Coins that recently had an ICO for example, often grow a lot after a while.
Small, promising coins implementing new features, often grow a lot.

It's stupid to limit yourself to the top coins of coinmarketcap  ;)

None of this list have a real chance to moon it until the summer.
1-#XLM, 2-#ADA and 5-#IOTA are overpumped from December alt rush.

Why ETC?It has the same capabilities as ETH.And if again someone creates something similar to CryptoKitty,there will be problems with the network and high commissions, some users will switch to ETC.It also plans to limit emissions, which will certainly benefit the community and the price.Tokens go as an application simply, the basic demand will always be for something that has more value than just a token, that is, one can create these tokens many times,IMHO

It's a fair assumption that many coins that fell the hardest will bounce back the highest too. So looking at the biggest fallers is a good start.

A few caveats with this approach though;

1. Even if someone has made one miss-click and bought at a price they really didn't mean to, just one time, it may skew the results. I suspect this happened to Zcash as its showing as ATH of nearly $6k

2. It doesn't take account of current trends. For example, I don't think many people expect bitconnect or Zclassic to return to previous ATHs! Similarly, many people in this thread have said NEO as one of their top coins, but it hasn't fallen that much compared to others.

3. Some of the biggest gainers between now and summer will be ICOs. You won't see them on the link for obvious reasons.

4. Some coins may have simply been overvalued. My personal opinion is Cardano was/is. Given it's still so far off being ready (reports of 5 years) I'm not sure it's justified being valued as high as it is, despite dropping 525% already

The rise in prices will depend only on the behavior of bitcoin. That means a lot of people can stop using altcoins. Why invest in altcoins if their price growth charts copy the bitcoin chart? In this situation, the capital can leave the altcoins and move to bitcoin. The price of many coins may fall and some altcoins may not exist at all. You didn't think that?

a lot of coins that have increased for now. thus did not close the possibility they explode in the summer. but among all the rising coins I believe in the coins of Litecoin, NANO, OmiSego, DigixDao, and Verge.

The situation on the exchange is changing rapidly.  And those coins that were supposed to grow at the beginning of the year, are only falling.  But still I guess that some coins should grow well until the summer.  I bet on ETC, ETH, ADA, CAPP, NEO.  There are other coins that have a good future, but I believe most of all in the growth of these altcoins.

I'm taking the stance of investing in coins that are very new. A lot of risk, but there could also be a lot of reward.

My two main risky investments are:

1)CREP
--crepcoin is another cryptonight coin that can be mined with a low network hashrate. 
It's got active devs, it's own exchange in beta, webwallets, and a gui wallet. 

2)DEAL
--idealcash is a proof of stake coin with 30% annual returns and low circulating #'s(~1 billion so far). 
Its speed and low cost are what interest me most.  I expect this one to grow quite a bit as it hits exchanges.
I just sold off my last 2 weeks of stake rewards and recouped my initial investment.

I'm also hodling LTC, XRP, and of course BTC.

Good top 5 coins. However I'd better put bitcoin on the first position, Etherium on the second one and throw away ADA for this list.

Can agree with the first four coins of your list, but am not so sure about litecoin cash LCC. According to me, LCC was just a scam that was created for the purpose of money grab. There are not many supporters of LCC and I don’t see any real use of LCC that differs much from LTC.

Moreover, the team behind LCC is quite anonymous among which one person has a picture of donkey on the site above his name. So I am not so sure whether LCC can be trusted and it will grow. Better get rid of it before it dumps to zero. It’s also not available on any of the good exchanges.

Not so sure about XRB(NANO) as it doesn’t really seem to have any good utility in the blockchain field except that it has fast transactions and less fees which is nowadays provided by most of the crypto coin. XRB is not a good coin if you are planning to hold for a long term.

I can agree that TRX is quite good and has potential and a hard working team behind it. Moreover TRX has main net launch and coin burn on 31st march which is likely to skyrocket its price until summer.

The coins that will moon until summer according to me are :

I do not understand by what criteria you determine the time when the coin takes off. Especially in the falling market. I have a few coins in my portfolio, but I'm not sure that they will give me a profit in a few months.

I think this summer we are waiting for a bullish trend.

But it doesn't mean it can't moon sooner or later. In fact, it is quite the opposite. It has a huge support from different institutions and banks that its prise may rise a lot in the nearest future. Nothing stoped PayPal from being as popular as it is now.

We're not sure that these certain coins might have such trend in this summer just because market is very vulnerable for changes. Although they have potentials or have any possibilities but isn't give us assurance of bringing into moon so it is better if we don't expect that.

no need for new coins, because in my opinion old coins are safer and more profitable, therefore I prefer to add my Bitcoin and Ethereum rather than buying new coins, because I believe that the price of Bitcoin and Ethereum will increase very high when the bull run comes.

I agree with you that old top coins are safer than a new coin for investment. Bitcoin and Ethereum are the most trusted coins in the market. These two coins are basically the starter of bullrun. They are still the leading coin of the crypto market.
However, ARB is another good token to invest in right now. It may be the new gem that can expect higher returns during the bullrun.

I think you should add BNB and MATIC to your list, because these two coins have a lot of potential, especially BNB, BNB has good exchanges, and these two coins are very good for long term investment

I myself am more optimistic about ADA, cardano is an Altcoin that I have always kept in my wallet for a long time. I have benefited a lot from Cardano so far.

No one doubts Bitcoin and ethereum, these two coins are mandatory coins for the first investment. Without needing any research BTC & ETH is the best choice.
For some new altcoins, it seems that there is still a risk of going down. Like the ARB coin that you mentioned, this is indeed a new coin with airdrop hype, when the hype has disappeared, the price movement is not as fast as when it first appeared. good or not for the investment is the responsibility of each. I don't see BNB on your list, I think BNB is also a coin with a lot of potential, BNB really relies heavily on binance exchanges, but I think that's the strength of BNB, the price of BNB is also one of the few stable altcoins that doesn't fluctuate too much

BNB should be on everyone portfolio, the coin is going to give huge profit next bull market. It's one of the strong project with very strong community and it has the backing of the biggest exchange in the market.

ARB should also be researched and invested in. Arb is the rival of Polygon and one thing about the cryptocurrency market is that when two coins are always compared they do well together like Dogecoin and Shiba.

Mine next pick will be Shiba Inu and that's because dogecoin is peaking at $1 in next bull market and when that happens the next project that'll benefit is Shiba Inu as investors will be looking for the next coin alike to dogecoin.

Bitcoin already reached 30k and then drop to 27k again. All your Above highlighted coins are not in good mode and we have seen a big increase in low supply coin and meme coins. we should first observe the current trend and then invest wisely. holding these coins for long term is just waste if time. now crypto trading becomes advance and everyone is looking for short profit.

BNB! even though there is no BNB on your list, but I'm sure if the price of BNB will increase too, because BNB is getting more popular and many investors are investing in BNB for the long term, therefore I'm sure if the price of BNB will increase very high, especially if a bull run occurs, then of course it will make the price of BNB create a new ATH price.

Too many people consider too short term. Making money is not something you do from here until summer, that is not how wealth is made. If you want to make money, you need to think bigger, not just invest and forget and make money right away, that is not the method. You end up spending less, saving more, and investing better for long term consistently so that you could retire. Someone who saves %50 of their salary for 10-15 years could retire afterwards, having something like that is of course difficult when you do not make a lot of money, but you can try to do it as little as %30 or %10, even %5 if you are too poor. That means you should increase your income if you can't save, instead of just cutting costs. In the end, if you keep saving and keep putting that into bitcoin, you will retire rich in the end, may take 10 to 20 years maybe, but you will retire rich at least, that part is guaranteed. But if you keep trying to get rich quickly thanks to some shady alts, then you will probably lose it all and will have to start over again.

why don't you invest in Binance too, because in my opinion Binance is one of the best altcoin at the moment and has a good product (exchange and blockchain), so you won't regret to investing in Binance and hold for the long term, because Binance is a promising investment for you (gives a big profit).

I think now we are in the trend of sui networks, aptos, and the like. the top coins we know have also begun to shift. even if these kind of projects don't occupy the top 10 marketcap at least they are not affected by the crypto season. that's fair enough for those who want profit but are constrained by market seasons.

It's probably a dream come true. Summer is two weeks away, but altcoin prices are lower than they were in April. I don't think there will be a bull market this summer, although there is hope that positive news from China could influence the price. Dude, this prediction is from 2018 and even then it was wrong. His choices would have tanked in the summer. None of the coins did raise that year or the next. I don't know why people are still believing in most of these old projects that has not make there investors to be as rich as other projects. Many of these projects are fading out and the number if investors who are interested in them are reducing because there are new project in the market that tend to so better than many of those old crypto projects.

Now that we are entering into the bull run soon, we need to hold some of these new projects that are even hit 100× in a space of time. I have learn from the hard way to always put my money in a project that can give me project within little time frame so I can invest in other cryptocurrency projects too. Diversifying our investment is very important.

a good project like that will last, in contrast to shitcoins or coins that rely on fomo alone, it won't last long.
