I have searched the whole forum but have not found any news about this. So i post it here:

Etherdelta got deleted from the exchange lists at coinmarketcap.

I think its not bad cause Etherdelta got some big problems with there API and with hacking attempts in the past.


What do you think about this step from cmc? Will it be added again or not? Is it good or not? Tell me your opinions.

Look like the ICO was scam to get money and just disappear. All support and development stopped when the ICO ended.
Good the ICO failed for them.

I liked EtherDelta very very much before the hack. Miss the good times with cheap coins.

No markets or whatsoever which I do believe that cmc removed them because of some issues.I haven't even see their announcement.Etherdelta was good into previous months until such issues arise towards it and now leaving a negative impression to each trader in the market.

it really seems that etherdelta is dead now. Even their twitter is closed. It's very sad actually, I used to like this crypto flea market. But it was going this way after owners change: hackers attack, weird ICO, API troubles. I wonder how soon the site will be replaced with phishing one without any support.

All menu views and functions are the same as EtherDelta, you can connect the wallet using metamask

I've used Forkdelta too, faster and lighter than the current Etherdelta.

Thank you sir for informing us of this development and I will try to transfer my tokens from them to another exchangers. I think we are not yet developed for a decentralized exchanger like etherdelta and that is why we are having this problem. I have sold many tokens through etherdelta and I really appreciate this systems but the developers need to do a lot in other to make etherdelta a best place to trade.

Maybe some others come and take the place from etherdelta for decentralized exchanges - i have heard that cobinhood would like to open his exchange for this.

I didn't notice it, but it is a pitty .. EtherDelta has been a symbol of one trading era. Their laggy operations and totally UX unfriendly environment will stay in minds of us. ;D It is legendary .. in a way.

I believe the new Etherdelta owner took a gamble by hacking thier trader's capital which is a lot of ETH and several tokens. Given the imposible situation, the new owner has probably decided to close shop instead.

I like Etherdelta, I have been using it for quite some time, but if we can get better exchange then I wouldn't mind. I didn't use Forkdelta, but I will give it a go. I thought that we could see some upgrades by now on Etherdelta, but we still don't see any :(

I actually do not really like for trading sell and buy token in Etherdelta because everyone have knows what is the problem there. if CMC does not add again i think it's okay because it will not affect the market price in a large exchange place.

actually also snagt in joy when in lid mngingat etherdelta is a market that many coin enter in it just etherdelta often eror which make trading there very annoying

Oh yes it was very laggy - if you would like do see you  balance sometimes you have do spent hours for waiting. I think etherdelta was and is a market destroyer but it was good for buying cheap coins from bounty dumpers.

I don't understand why people are saying it is closed? Maybe it is deleted from CMC, but clearly not closed.

https://etherdelta.com does not work. Not sure if you were just viewing a snapshot.

Also twitter has not been updated since they last had their API issues which is about a week ago.

I wouldn't say that it looks good at all. There is a chance that they could come back, and fix all their problems, but that does not seem likely. The tokens and exchange are still listed on coinmarketcap, they are inactive because the exchange is down and the token is only listed on etherdelta before. Anyways, a good idea gone to waste it seems.

i dont knnow i like etherdelta is super easy for me, we just add token address and we can sell imeditelly.
and we can easy sell our token may be from airdrop or bounties that using small amount

Etherdelta is almost dead now following the recent problem they experienced so people can really say it's closed now even without that CMC removal or something etc. Their twitter is non sense and just look at the last date where they posted their status.

People can still withdraw their balanced on Etherdelta and good thing it works. Only trades are affected. I suggest to get all funds you have there while it's possible to do so.

How i can trust that website?
Is that website is from the old team Etherdelta?

Any other way to get your assets on ED? Is that possible?

I still can access etherdelta.com here, the page is still there though still laggy, I use firefox Quantum

So they have some problem with API, usually coinmarketcap just stop taking data from problematic exchanger, maybe etherdelta still trying to overcome their problem

Pinging their domain also still replied indicating their site should be up

Its not closed but they have many troubles with the api and other things don´t run smooth.

It's not suprising. A lot of users always show their hate towards ED regarding with its annoying exchange. Recently the hack and the feud inside their team so I can only expect worst after that.

This is very bad  :'(  The Etherdelta market was good despite the inconvenience. There it was possible to sell any tokens produced in the Ethereum network. I am afraid that this exchange will not be in the near future. It's very sad.

Did they took money from users or they let them to take their funds back to wallets?
I am not sure what is going on but their trade volume is zero, last update was 10 days ago and it seems that ED is gone.

yes I think it is etherdelta is a standard exchanger, which makes him deleted from CMC is the number of problems that happen there, maybe to return again is difficult but it is not impossible if etherdelta already fix the shortcomings

Same as it was on EtherDelta, you set gas price yourself. Depending on Ethereum network congestion and how fast you need the transaction to be executed, set the gas price between "safe low" and "fast" values on https://ethgasstation.info.

Etherdelta is not yet dead, infact i was still able to transact on their site last day. i can still transfer my tokens from mew to ed and there is no problem with transactions, it went out verry smoothly as usuall but the only thing that i notice recently is that the value of some coins/tokens are not the same as the value in ethplorer.com because i was once used ethplorer in order to track their value on ed and before the value of the coins were accurate but not now , maybe this is because their site is experiencing an issue
