i saw different recommended article in google about bitcoin that it will hit $50,000 in the end of 2018
as of now there are a lot of prediction about price some say it could hit more than that and in 2020 more than $1,000,000
in 2020 there a possibility of sudden price jump again because of the next halving but we are still not sure if it could hit more than $1,000,000
in my observation when price start to drop there a lot of bad news that will discourage and make panic to the holder as of now i dont see any bad news about bitcoin like getting ban or something all i see now is price prediction that will encourage new to bitcoin to invest more and the current investor to HODL .
my question is do you think this is the start of the price rise until the end of this year before it reach the expected price of $50,000 ?

It will always stay a bit unsure. Regulations or news about bans are affecting the price (sometimes real hard), but eventually Bitcoin and the altcoins climb up again. So will it get to those prices? With this rate of success over the last few years, yes why not? But where will the money come from? Wall Street, big banks wanting to join in? Or everybody that stated Bitcoin as a scam or fraud and wanting to get in now, because they see it's not stopping, ever..

Bitcoin is very volatile and its quotation will be affected by many factors, I think that trying to predict a value at the end of the year can have an accuracy of 0%. Undoubtedly, Bitcoin's technology is a revolution and it is likely that it will still have a long way to go, but as in any volatile asset, if you expect large revaluations you will have to endure large price variations upwards and downwards.

In my own prediction they have possibility the price of the bitcoin will increase at $50,000 and for sure if that happen we will earn a lot of profit.  So better to buy bitcoin and for sure you will gain more profit after few years of holding.

I think bitcoin will not only hit fifty thousand dollars per pieces.  It will hit sixty thousand dollars per piece. Many of us thinking too much in terms of bitcoin but doesn't have a minded to become a millionaire

$ 50,000 in my opinion are clearly too high. I do not think btc will go up to $ 50,000 this year. Before btc rises again, it must first become stable again.
At the moment it does not look like it is stable and I think it takes at least a few weeks or months to get stable. Once it's stable, I think it will reach $ 20,000 + by the end of the year.

It's hard to say anything definite. I do not think there's a point after you've made money. This is what I see on this site; People always want more.

Yes and no. Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general is too open that they can go to near-zero in any day. Imo the price now is too speculative, we don't yet see mass adoption and the market cap already spikes higher than most of the companies and assets.

I am always rooting for bitvoin to be valued more.
This investment strategy of most people will take effect at long term.
When supporters grew and workers who will be paid thru another coin, I bet they will be exchanging it to bitcoin for future basis.
It will vome in handy some day and guess what, it will be too expensive to buy 1 bitcoin. They could just go for satoshis.

I dont think futures trading helps. When huge volumes are being traded large quantities can be bought up. The futures market can be shorted and then they can sell off their BTC. A huge pump and dump.

I do expect BTC to be much higher by end of Q2 though. Each time the price drops and recovers it will give confidence to the buyers. I think some of the alts my not recover though.

No way it will go near Zero. So many people would hoover up before it got anywhere near that low. I would says $3,000 would be the bottom.

I honestly don't think it will go up to that. Maximum should be around $23,000

I think it is possible considering bitcoin history charts, we have seen continuos increase in bitcoin price year on year with 2017 becoming the breakout year. I think 2018 will be the same, bitcoin has attracted more investors and gained all time  popularity high. Many investors are eyeing to get their bitcoin fortune and just waiting for the right time to invest.

usually these guesses that are saying they are speculating about bitcoin price in the future and give a huge number are only making a pure guess and want to reach some agenda. and it is not just about when they predict rise, it also works when they predict a fall.

whenever you see a ridiculous speculation like saying it will reach $1 million or it will drop to $2000, know that the person saying it is trying to sell and make profit or short and make profit respectively.

Do you think that you can add an additional $ 600 billion to bitcoin market capitalization? Do you think it can reach roughly $ 800 billion of total market capitalization while maintaining a steady growth in monthly btc supply? it seems to me about 50000 new BTCs per month.
According to the latest data provided by CoinDesk, the commission cost per transaction has been reduced from $ 37 (historical high) to about - $ 1 more or less like January '17.
think that this can be a good reason to buy, especially seeing -8% on the last day of BTC.

Everything is possible under the sun. If Bitcoins could hit $18000 in December, 2017; nothing stop it from reaching $50,000 by the end of 2018. It all depends on the forces of demand and supply. I think it would be a great new when it happens like dat

$50k by this year is quite impossible in my opinion although it reached almost the $20k mark last December but I think it was only an effect of a whale trying to profit. I trust Bitcoin but if we are to speculate based on its performance nowadays it'll take some time for it to hit the $20k rate again. I'm guessing it to have $20k to $40k value this year though.

Hope this will happen, but you cant deny the fact that bitcoin can reached 50k mark but it will take time or even years i have read lots of article regarding this, lots of bitcoin investors speculate that bitcoin will grow 3x its value from last december or even more.

May be you are right or you are wrong. No one exactly can tell about that it will hit 50k$ in this year. But according to my opinion it will go maximum 30k$ in this year if bitcoin can continue its excellent performance and can get excellent demand like previous year then it will go to high. Still bitcoin in this year have not shown such huge price due to which maximum people are waiting for high price.

Because rightnow its price is strugling, maybe it can hit the last price last year but not your given price. We have to wait, maybe a few years from now. Although i am not agree about your speculation, deep inside i am still wishing and hoping that may be your right. For now i will just enjoy it.

I hope so.. Many of us thinking too much in terms of bitcoin. But so far as I predict bitcoin this year will become a pretty good price. And people will make sure of it.

I am sure we are all wishing for a $50,000 value by the end of the year. Is it possible? Sure if we do another year like 2017, which was 20X. Is it likely? l don't think so. Fundamentally what would make it worth 50K per coin? Only supply and demand, more people want it and less people will sell it.

Bitcoin crossing $50K mark by the end of 2018 is a little too high to speculate. But bitcoin will cross that mark in a couple of years.

It's still too early to claim things but it is not bad to hope. After all bitcoin has been experiencing a huge price increase right now and it is expected to continue for a couple of months before settling down again. At the very least I am sure bitcoin could at least achieve a new all-time-high value and it could survive this year again.

It is not impossible to happen coz bitcoin is very powerful and in long term bitcoin to us its possibility to rise so I have no doubt that on end of 2018 it will goes up  but not that high maybe it will range to 20-30k $ and I will surely keep my hodling up until that day will come.

Who knows what will be the next move as the  market still unpredictable, but if the trend will repeat what happen last year, then we will be able to anticipate
that the price will ho higher, not sure if 50k$ can be hit but it will touch another new height, lets see and hope for the best and keep holding our coins, time

I think bitcoin will easily hit 50-100k by the end of 2018 when lightning network runs stable and transaction fees go towards zero.
Never had less fud about bitcoin than these days so I don't expect a pullback.

Based on the performance in the last two months, I think we won't hit $50K, because there hasn't been a steadily increasing trend so far. If we hit $50K, it will be due to a sudden price explosion like towards the end of last year, which turned out to be bad for bitcoin.

We should be glad if bitcoin would reach 15K this year. Although there are many promising developments, like f.i. big financial institutions going into cryptocurrencies, there's one threat: governments of most countries will come with regulations and they will tax cryptocurrencies. If the outcome of the G20 discussion on cryptocurrencies is positive, perhaps then bitcoin could reach 15K.

It is possible that bitcoin will break $ 50,000 by the end of this year and will make people earn a lot of profits, if now they still survive and wait for the end of this year.
I hope this will happen, but that's just a prediction, we should not be too sure of the bitcoin price increase by the end of 2018, because we all will not know what will happen to bitcoin.
Perhaps all we have to do is pray and hope that the miracle will come to all of us, because if it happens then many people will suddenly become a millionaire.

I believe that $50,000 is possible by the end of 2018. Our community is growing really fast. Bitcoin soon should be able to become a currency which could be used by a few hundred thousand people at the same time. I can't wait how fast and cheap it will be in the near future. Many developers all over the world are working hard to provide us this great alternative to the current banking system which is... we all know. Price is not as important as working technology.

i'm not sure Bitcoin price will hit $50000 in the end of 2018, because so many FUD coming lately. i think Bitcoin price will hit around $20000 or $30000 in the end of 2018...

As at now, bitcoin hitting $50,000 is just speculation but I think it's possible to reach this milestone by the  end of the year. I might be wrong, as I said, it's all speculation

Can not predict the situation of the BTC at this time because the current price of BTC is trading at $ 8000 price. I think it takes a long time to talk about this, because the probability that the BTC will reach $ 50,000 in 2018 is 30% because there is a lot of bad news and google will block Cryptocurrency in June and this will have a huge impact BTC and the whole market
