As far I remember I've reported some threads multiple times because they just come back again & again. When I reported, Mods deleted the thread but later they create another thread. I have reported this user Voidlocke (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1236515) 1-3 times (not remember exactly), but tonight I saw he/she returned back again. Sells Thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2977413.msg30592872#msg30592872) in Digital Goods (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=93.0) Sells Thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2977398.0) in Services (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0) Same goes for this user promotion1 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1325711), his selling thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2572255.0) There are more members like them. Now my question is, why Mods doesn't ban them? They deserve a ban now because they are repeatedly doing the same thing even after their thread got deleted once or twice. I'd say either keep reporting them or ignore them. Choice is yours. Even mods can't do anything sometimes. People do abuse the forum's policies as in anonymity and multiple accounts creation. VPN and tor help them too.

But also banning of their accounts won't solve a problem because it's very easy to obtain new ip adress. But it worths to make job difficult for them and if I were mod, I would ban everyone who replies on their threads. |
