Title: litecoin seems so cheap
Post by: leath08 on February 23, 2018, 08:32:00 PM
I always hear good things about litecoin, it doesn't really get any negativity. Seems to be a really popular coin, which has been around a while now.

So why is the price so cheap? i heard it should be around 10% the value of Bitcoin so what do you guys think?

Hello, you asked an interesting question and I immediately answer it in connection with the sharp decline in the market of crypto currency. Token traders have an opportunity to increase their capital several times due to the fact that the market drop is a temporary phenomenon and Litecoin is no exception, so with certainty I can tell you that you can purchase this token and in the future you will not regret it

Maybe because it has 4 times the supply of bitcoin, and isn't as popular as bitcoin?

Its value is only $200 so it's only 5% of the value of bitcoin. But the market capitalization is just under 10% of bitcoin I think.

Well, LTC has already seen many pumps recently and I don't think that it's that cheap anymore. Compared to other new altcoins, it just doesn't seem to have that competitive edge over them anymore i think.

Theres a lot to consider for the coin's price fluctuations one is ,supply which you are right litecoin has more supply than bitcoin, second the developements of the coin if the developers doesnt have progress morelikely the coin's price improvement will be slowed, third the fundamentals is there any upcoming news or events? so on and so forth people needs to know that these solid coins has less fluctuations compare to those new altcoins that is why new altcoins has more gains than these well known coins.

I don't think so, the latest news about the bitcoin fees has fallen from the sky. If we can pay directly with bitcoin without feel worry about a lot of fees to be paid to the network. and then is there a valid reason to use litecoin? At least litepay.us give a better reason rather than say litecoin was better than bitcoin in the scalability solution.

Bitcoin could stay above Litecoin if Bitcoin is being traded more with altcoins. Litecoin doesn't seem like it would be worth 10% less of Bitcoin.

Maybe investors are so busy buying other coins like bitcoin and eth. It doesn’t mean that there’s a good news about a specific coin then the price should go up, this is not about the popularity its about the interest of every investors. I have to agreed that LTC is a good coin, well its better if the price are still cheap right now for us to buy more and let your profit grow over time.

Litecoin is a very good and potential coin, it got a very cheap and fast transaction, unfortunately it is not too famous and there are no big companies want to adopt litecoin, some sites that accepting litecoin only gambling site, and I think litecoin is a bit underappreciated, the price should be more valuable than that

You have to got remember litecoin was still under $100 on December 1, 2017. The ath was over $350. I do believe news of the creator selling his litecoins slowed the price down. The ltc fork pumped the price because people wanted the airdrop. I might grab some more if the price ever dips to $150. I don't think $210 for 1 ltc is considered cheap. But with news of litepay, I see a great year for litecoin.

LITECOIN is poised to launch its exclusive transaction processor LitePay. A Litecoin wallet will be available where users can load Litecoins onto a Visa-compatible LitePay card which will be supported worldwide.

Litecoin is 209 dollar. Is it cheap? I remember when I bought my Litecoin under 5 dollar.
Think about it again. It's not cheap at all. You can buy to make 2-3x though.

I think litecoin is a really promising altcoin. Its current situation reminds me the older situation of ethereum. I think Litecoin has a really great potential and I really hope that, it will has wonderful prices in the future.

In the past Litecoin was one of the most stable coins - fiat wise. The price was growing slowly and steadily - look at the time period April till November 2017.
Then there was that spike to $350 in December and since then Litecoin seems stable again, but this time BTC wise. It seems tied to Bitcoin price around 0.02 BTC.
I think this will continue for some time so if Bitcoin will prosper, so will Litecoin. So yeah, I think it could reach $350 and more but only if Bitcoin price returns above $16k as well.

He was indeed doing that,he announced last year that all of his share were given to some charity but the truth is its just his strategy so it wont be obvious that he is selling his shares to get a lot of profits from his own coin, for sure he has millions of supply of this coins, which makes harder for the coin to improve its price.

If you could have saw it few months ago, it was dirt cheap, Now the price is not cheap, its holding its price tightly and I am sure in future it will further rise.

In my opinion and discarding the technical analysis, one point of view that we should keep in mind is that Litecoin has the potential and time to market to be worth 10% of Bitcoin, but its promises were made in the past with a market that is not volatile and without high investments, doing this analysis the question we can ask is, with so many currencies with low prices and great potential, why should i invest in Litecoin?

It's cheap since it will always be based off the reputation of Bitcoin, it will always be the "silver" so to speak. This is because LTC implements experimental tech before it's implemented on BitCoin. It's more like a testing environment for Bitcoin. And to say it's low in price is not true, it's #5 marketcap. That is huge.

Crypto currency is a great investment opportunity. I consider 2018-2019 - the golden years for crypto-currency in general. I think that Litecoin, like other currencies will grow many times, so it is worth it now to buy and store in a purse or play on the stock exchange. Uniquely, Litecoin will become more expensive and worth investing in.

First of all, it's its creator - Charlie Lee, who completely focused on promoting his crypto currency. Low transaction costs. "It's very fast."
Excellent wallet Litecoin Core. This is a big plus, since the wallet is fast, and takes up little space on the hard drive.

Litecoin is holding steady at over $ 200 after a period of sharp price hikes, plans made in the roadmap have made investors more confident in Litecoin. I think LTC will be stepping up its reach in the future to be able to compare with Ethereum.

I don't think it's cheap. I have seen litecoin since it was 20-30 USD per LTC. The coin has jumped all the ATH of 300 in the past and now it is playing around 200 USD. I think that is the best market cap any coin can achieve and believe that it is going in the right direction and at right speed too. Believe it or not it is next ethereum and those who invest into it heavily today will have great future. It is the same repeating cycle of ethereum only where ethereum played around couple of dollars then jumped to 300 bucks and played over there for long and then now you see what ethereum is worth today. :-)

So yeah just consider the LTC the same way and go along the flow.

Litecoin has been around for quite sometime, and i agree with you that its one of he best coins around, the fact that its cheap in price doesn't directly point to its value,i think litecoin will take some time before reaching the top but when it does there will be no turning back. The few superior alt coin are only above it by a small margin due to the difference in technology and the way the market received it, But its a coin for the future

I'm not very researching about litecoin,
I think there are many altcoin that I can do as a trading material. I just prefer to ethereum for investment and as a priority in every trade. besides, if i hold it, the eth value will continue to increase

LiteCoin is Bitcoins little brother, and appears to have a good user case and public recognition and usage as a medium of exchange - and it’s likely to be one of the few thousands of current cryptocoins that will survive and hold value long term. It’s price of $210 is about 7% that of Bitcoin, and it has current circulating supply of 55,000 is 3x that of Bitcoins and ultimately its total circulating supply of 84,000 will be 4x that of Bitcoins. It’s hard to see LiteCoin ever having more than 5-10% of the price of Bitcoin, but given Bitcoin should appreciate greatly in value over the next few years there’s plenty of room for LiteCoin to rise significantly in price from where it is as well! The question is what is the best investment vehicle for the bulk of your capital!

lite coin is a coin that has a very good team and pengenmbang they can follow the flow of bitcoin price increase not only that litecoin also supported by large companies that work with litecoin very much. I believe litecoin is a potent coin that is very expensive.

Well because it has many supplies that isn't sufficient yet to increase the value but also due to the market decrease of the altcoins and bitcoin it is affected.

Litecoin is one of the oldest cryptocurrencies on the market and it is one of the most successful. In some extent this currency is better technologically than Bitcoin. I am sure that Litecoin has nice future.
