Title: My friends lost their 2yo son, need help with funeral...
Post by: juggalodarkclow on September 25, 2013, 12:24:11 AM
Hey everyone, I'm not one that usually asks for things from the community but this one hits very close to home.
Two of my close friends lost their 2 year old son in an unfortunate accident Sunday night.

If anyone would be willing to donate to help them cover funeral expenses they are accepting fiat at that link, if you would like to donate in BTC then you can send it to 18ZWHnw4a1nJ8bAQb5t8kJiRm32sLQ8Zis and I will convert it to fiat and send to them.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and thank you for any help you can spare.

Is there a newspaper article associated with Gavin's death? What city and state did this occur in? I can't seem to find anything on the internet related this with the exception of a Gavin boy dying last year due to the exact same circumstance.

I understand everyone being suspicious and right fully so.

This happened in Martinsburg, WV.

I have screenshots from the mother and father's facebook timelines-

I haven't seen anything on the local newspaper's website yet - http://www.journal-news.net/   (http://www.journal-news.net/)
And nothing yet from the local NBC affiliate station - http://www.your4state.com/home (http://www.your4state.com/home)

I wish there was more evidence I could provide to prove this is real but unfortunately nothing has been made official about it yet, I suspect the obituary will be in the paper any day now.

Sorry for their/your loss. I'll donate if you have more proof (I feel bad for asking for proof), because the internet is filled with scammers. I've seen people trying to scam by saying their child has terminal cancer so nothing surprises me. Not calling you a liar though!

The kind of world where grieving parents start soliciting money on the internet before their baby is cold.

Nothing; scammers have been around longer than money has existed.  You can never be too careful, especially with strangers on the nets.

I totally understand any and all skepticism when it comes to things like this. Unfortunately people lose all their morals when it comes to scamming, they will make up tragic stories just to get a free dollar. Thank you to those who have donated as I know it means a lot to my friends and it means a lot to me.
