Title: the fed=communism
Post by: ronimacarroni on September 25, 2013, 12:37:08 AM
The foundation of communism can be found in the communist manifesto.
Among those things are
Quote
Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes.
or
Quote
Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State; the bringing into cultivation of waste-lands, and the improvement of the soil generally
or
Quote
Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.
But the one that struck me was
Quote
Centralisation of credit in the hands of the State, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly.
The federal reserve sets the federal reserve ration which is in essence the credit rate and tries to boost debt through inflation.
The federal reserve is communist! :o

Federal Reserve is PRIVATE corporation, so it is not even close to the communism or socialism!

I've said it many times, the problem is not so much free markets (trading) vs communism (sharing), it is small scale vs large scale, or decentralization vs centralization.

If you have too powerful players, things go ugly, no matter if they're "private" Monsanto, "public" Soviet Union or the "private public" FED.

+1 for recognising what communism and socialism actually is rather than just ranting about it :P
