Well, the only  truth about BITCOIN is, no one can actually predicts exactly what will happen. Yes it can go down to $6k. But it can shoot up to new ATH and break $20k.

The truth is no one knows!! No matter what they say, BTC is absolutely unpredictable.  After such a brutal decrease every one was hoping from now one BTC will only rise.  But with a surpise it went up to almost $12k and now again in the $9k+ region...

so to answer your question again, yes it can go down to $6k... no one can say for sure..

Bitcoins won't be returned to 6K. As I believe the future of Bitcoins is OK.

Maybe it will fall down a little bit but it is going to rise back. the huge crash is over I believe, now we have just little bumps but we are in a rising mode.

I think bitcoin's price will not be lowered at 8k usd because it's a lotco bitcoin support and they're buying bitcoin now so it's going to increase if you just hold your bitcoin or buy more

I would stop worrying too much about short term price fluctuations and focus on the long term.

Development and real world adoptation is still growing, the only thing that happened was too many people wanting to get in at the same time in December, causing the price to spike too fast.

I don’t feel any pressure because my goal is good for long term and I know bitcoin can survive those FUD news. The price are dumping again, but nothing to worry because I trust bitcoin much and it will make good profit for me. I hope it will not back on $6k level again and able to pump higher again.

It could return to 6k as other crypto traders are making money from dumping and spreading FUD to allow easy manipulation for them to get cheap coins but once we over 15k I don't see the downward trend.

why are you talking like that? do you have a good reason? yes indeed In advance the price of bitcoin ever fell, but we will never fall again to the same hole. to be honest I strongly believe that from its falling bitcoin prices in the past few months it will be a resurrection and ready to take off to achieve higher prices.

This is possible btc could return to $6k as we can check the market is decreasing. Price couldnt reach over $12k this last days. We know bitcoin value is unpredictable maybe it will return to $6k or this time will continue to increase. Yet,even the price will resulted to a positive note into rise I am still holding bitcoin.

Doesn't matter, don't care because long term it will return back to the upward trend line. As long as that continues to happen, Bitcoin can rise as slowly as it likes, we have all the time in the world :).

Will it return to USD 6K? It might, or it might not!
Will I continue holding bitcoins? Yeah hell, I will. Weak hands might fold, but the hodlers will continue to smile and hold their bitcoins. Eventually, their strategy will pay them rich dividends.

Again another question about bitcoin's potential. Let's all grow up, bitcoin has been a roller coaster and after this red market it will be up again. Don't you worry man about the future of bitcoin if it will be great or not. Don't focus on the current standing of bitcoin, you are worried about everyday life and its future. Try to uninstall every single crypto market tracker so that you won't be pressed by a market that's having some correction or just following its normal pattern.

I'm not sure about the $6K again, but the floor price I'm looking at is around $8500 before we can see another massive gain that will push the price to $14K.

As for the future, no one can see where the price will go because its based on pure speculation. But most likely we can reach another all-time-high this year. Well above the previous $19K, but we don't know when we are going to hit it, maybe before the end of year or even next month.

I believe it will not return to $6k at this point. When we check the current price it was in red again. Most users had a high expectations that bitcoin will not return on $6k again. Because its a long weeks that price didnt fully regain to it's high value.

Not likely, but also not impossible. Important to understand is that this market needs triggers. In case the triggers aren't there, it will be very difficult to stimulate the market to increase, which will then result in traders to get bored due to a lacking upwards incentive. What happens after that is that we go down slowly but surely over a longer period of time, which is quite a logical development if you think about it. I however have to point out that we aren't yet in such a market phase, but on the other hand also not far away from it. I would for that reason advice people not to panic directly if we do indeed happen to go down further -- buying on the way down is the best possible thing you can do.

What do you mean by pressure.
If you mean governments or banks are trying to stop bitcoin, I don't think so. Nowadays, we don't hear bad news. I don't think now the price is being affected by such news.

The market is completely independent to move, we cannot conclude what is going to take place by the next minute. Hope such a drop should not take place anymore. Now people doesn't expect big price increase, but just expect the price to be above the $10000 tag line.

Imagine if someone in the world crypto less than 2 months see your title, what will that person think? probably think of this: "bitcoin will fall to $6000 and I buy for $ 17000 I should sell ates that fall to $ 1000, at least I will not lose all my money" ... this person immediately panic, I even lost a lot money because of it. In the beginning when I bought bitcoin I would see thread like this and I would already panic and sell. Unless you have a good credible source that says that the price may fall, you should not be creating thread with this type of title




as technology, bitcoin has a great future and this in itself already answers your question, if it had no future, countries like japan, korea and so many other countries would not waste their time with bitcoin. they would just ignore bitcoin

There is a possibility that it could return to to $6K if the whales dump their bitcoin, if dump continues the fear of investors will result in panic selling. But on the other side I think it will be a good time to buy when bitcoin price is on the dip.

We cannot predict the exact amount of bitcoin if it will still rise up or will still go back down again to $6k. No ne can actually predict bitcoin price. If I were you, I will just go with the flow and just earn bitcoin or just trade what I want and just wait for me to gain profit in the future.

The price of digital currency is subjective to supply and demand. Bitcoin has been in this situation for many times and yet it survive with those challenges. The people are now aware of this volatility and if the price of bitcoin will return to $6k that could be a good opportunity to buy at cheap price. Bitcoin has a bright future ahead and that will achieve if more people will adopt the bitcoin technology and hold it until it will reach to the most awaiting price of greater than $20k.

yeah your analysis is absolutely right bitcoin cannot return to 6k because investor which are holding will never sold their coin at such a crucial moment they all want to earn big profit and for that they are keeping patience.

It could.  But possibly it won't.  I think 8k is very possible though. Don't think it will go anything above 12k any time in the near future.  Like a few months.  It could hover for days and days or just suddenly drop like a stone.  Who knows.

The market's natural process brings bitcoin down to $ 9,673 "stable bitcoin prices". This month or this year i see the existence of cryptocurrency war between new coins against old coins. Several new coins have been rolled out with the full support of their respective governments, while the old coins are left without any support like stepchildren.
But, i personally remain optimistic bitcoin will not fall as low as $ 6,000.

I'm fairly sure we won't see 6k again, at least not anytime soon. We are closer than a week ago but the market really found support in the 9-10k region and I think a recovery will come soon. Even if 9k falls I think the price will not go lower than 7k, it only hit 6k on a real flash dip and there will be a lot more people trying to buy the bottom this time around if it comes to it.

I hope that it won't. Bitcoin is indeed struggling at this moment but we should not be worried about that but rather be excited of the opportunity to invest and earn huge profit when its market price again, starts to increase. For now, invest and hold. Keep in mind that these fluctuations are just normal due to its volatility in the market which is definitely natural with cryptos.

Yes it can very well fall to 6K. all it takes is string of bad news and/or greedy asswipe whales dumping their coins.  Market is soo easy to manipulate it could even go down to 3K realistically. 

Nobody can clearly say what will be the bitcoin market in future, whether the consequences will be negative or in favour of investors, it all depends on global support of crypto economists. They can either keep the price upright or loosen control, however the new year starting always come up with a positive result, so i might say we are not going to see $6k again

The future is very bright and I thing we have a good assets at hand. Bitcoin has defiled many odd and it will ever be forward ever and backward never. It is possible that Bitcoin can still fall to $6,000 or even below but it will not stay there. Bitcoin is going to have one of the best way in 2018 and we would continue to have a very serious upward price movement from next quarter.

I think it's unlikely to get back to touching $ 6k, because now the bitcoin has started to improve the price again.

Yes, bitcoin suddenly riding on a good pump yesterday and it continued up to now. I don't know if whales is reinvesting or newbies coming to the market as well, but this is a good sign that a bounce back to $12K will eventually happen. Because for me this is the new barriers that we need to break so that we can have at least breathing room and not fall to 4 digits again.

Pressure from different entities will almost be present (government, banks and others), but I think the future still looks bright and I'm still seeing a very high exponential growth for this year.

I don't think so.Because,I think the pullback of bitcoin has been over and it will start rising again.But, of course it will take time to recover it's success and reach to the previous highest of 20k.Yet,I think that the price of bitcoin won't fall down anymore. So,6k??not expecting.

That exponential growth means that crypto is the one that making a pressure, its not pressure on crypto like op claims in this thread. This grow affects current economy and that economy is fighting back, some people behind that are talking bad things about crypto, but pressure on them is growing as bitcoin and crypto are getting bigger and fatter. For how long can this system fight against crypto future? When I read news everyday someone new is in crypto or investing possibilities to join in some way, we talk about big countries and big corporations here, and millions of people! Current economy will need to make a change on crypto sooner or later, that change has to be made and everything is point in that way, who ever is smart enough can see that is what I think.
About the price we all know that everything is possible, but I predict uptrend in next quarters, slow and steady, with minor fall downs, nothing big, clear sky before a huge storm.

Just don't too worried about that, a declining often got happens but we know due the price is fluctuating.. we should really can take the utilize all the condition in it, and no need to feel scared. it's good if we still keep holding/investing (re-buy bitcoin,altcoin) or doing a various effort without a feel doubt. I'm sure it will not return to $6k again, looks right now it's back to the higher direction, and i'm still convince.. it will go slowly but sure.

Not anymore and i strongly believe on that because the correction has already done. As we can see, bitcoin has already climbed at 11,000$ after that i think that bitcoin has a bright future through constant corrections.

Based on tbe market statistics at this moment, I think it won't again fall that much. The market vue s indeed struggling at the 10k market price but it is not fluctuating that much. For now, invest to it and wait for the increase to take place eventually. Predictions are already made on how much will its value grow thid year and that is obviously  something to look forward with.

This years lowest so far is $7,208 USD and that happened last February 7. That is just a few hundreds away to reach $6,000 mark so if you guys think that its NOT possible, it looks like it is possible, not that I want it to drop to $6,000 no, with whale manipulation, followed by FUD, fake news and Countries announcing their plan to ban Bitcoin or regulate, $6,000 is possible.

Bitcoin fluctuates daily its price but for now I dont think it will return to 6k. Then why you are waiting for 6k to invest if you can buy today. Price may even continue to increase we cant tell really the exact price but for me it will not return to $6k.

I think the more hype is created around Bitcoin, the better for it. When everybody is talking about this crypto, even saying something negatively, it becomes stronger.

Despite the fluctuation of prices, Bitcoin has chosen a point of stability at the 10,000$. Many of the analyzes expected the price to collapse and return to 6000 $ "as a level of stability" but apparently, the demand and confidence in the Bitcoin created a new range of prices.

I will be more relaxed if we break up through 13-14k and higher.
Then I think we can say that the bear trend is over.

Yes it can be possible, but my prediction is hard go down until to $6k. Because I see now Bitcoin a little bit stable. In this year bitcoin can increase fast more than last year. Many new investors came to invest in Bitcoin.

Probably.  But on this circumstances maybe not yet 'cause it seems the price nowadays is climbing gradually and perhaps soon 12k to 13k is not possible to reach even though there's still a minor drop . And also i don't see any negative news about it nowadays so IMO perhaps there's a potential of  price to exceed on this month base on its performance also .

Correction are not done completely but the majority of the people who are holding bitcoin they don't want to see bitcoin below the $6k, that's why the pushed the bitcoin to more than $7k in days in order to increase the price Bitcoin even to higher.

If in the year 2017 bitcoin prices rise dramatically and quite a bit pessimistic on the investor / user because if according to the science of rapid investment prices will rise rapidly down, but at the end of 2017 until now bitcoin fairly stable and seems quite heavy to crawl up again because many pending start on blockchain transactions due to transactions exceeding capacity. Had it been 2x last year to be done to increase blockchain capacity maybe bitcoin still optimistic could continue to dominate the market, but now it seems quite dubious if hoping bitcoin can crawl up again.

Just observe the market now it may not return to $6k. I can see it will in uptrend moves yes it is hard to return to that price. I am into favorable bitcoin would go higher this year.

I think we passed the worst. 6k was the dip for bitcoin, it recovered very fast at that price level and did not test any closer soon. If you look at the increasing trend channel you will see that bitcoin also broke through that channel and 9k is the new support zone. So BTC will not return to 6k any time soon

I'm not afraid of that price drop. We've been through a lot of dumps. I believe that bitcoin's life will be long and that's why we will survive a lot of dumps. You need to be able to remain calm and not to panic. I treat the dump as an opportunity to buy coins at a low price. Bitcoin as a Phoenix bird is always reborn.

I fully believe we will se the price fall to between 3-4 K before the next growth cycle begins.

Will wish it for it to go down to 5K so I can buy more. With Lightning Network being tested on the mainnet, Bitcoin will return to what it was intended to be, a secure means of exchange instead of being an asset.

Are you sure that people will suddenly use it as payment method just because it will be faster and cheaper?
I don't think that lighting network will change the base bitcoin properties and price evolution/expectation.
Bitcoin will still be more expensive in the future and because of that people would be still hoarding BTC.
Nothing will change except the fact that Lightning Network will boost BTC price even higher.

Don't underestimate the potential of off-chain scaling solutions, and especially so when it comes to LN. It will more than ever stimulate people to pay for goods, and also stimulate actual usage on every level of the economy. I strongly believe that third world countries will account for the major part of the actual LN usage. I however definitely get your point as well, because regardless of how fast and cheap transactions will be, a certain part of this market will always keep hoarding instead of actually using Bitcoin, which at the end of the day isn't a problem at all. People are free to use Bitcoin in the way they think it suits them the best. Bitcoin represents freedom -- people aren't forced to use Bitcoin in a way that isn't beneficial for them personally.

All is possible in bitcoin market, but for now I can see it will not return to $6k. Maybe it will drops if that happen that's our opportunity to buy bitcoin. I dont think 3-4k, whatever happen this time with bitcoin price I dont have to panic.

after about a week holding its position above $11k level, finally it fell below $11k again
if history repeats itself, it may drop back to $9k all over again
and there is always a possibility dropping to $6k which was the price level it begins to increase drastically last year

There's always a chance that bitcoin will fall back to that value which if there's another manipulation in the market from the whales or there's another banning issue from other country 'cause that is the common reason why the price always drop after the ATH.  and in my view there's a tend that it will happen again in the future due to some FUD also.

That's sad for holders again and we have to wait again and we have to put another level of patience again before selling.

Possibility of hitting $9k is bigger and its a better price rather than seeing it again @ $6k. But let's see where this will go.

According to who the bear market is over. Some technical analysis prophet? I don't see this happening for a good while until we see some real major positive events, i.e. Lightning release or green Lights from SEC.
