Did I miss some important news? What's up?

Didn't think there would be another dip so sudden but at least it looks like a good time to buy again, since ripple is just going to break $1 again soon.

Thoughts?

No, Bank of America is private institution and I find this news for positive. May be they will thy to offer a better service if they feel threaten.

I think the market is down today, because negative news are coming again from South Korea.

For sure, this is good news. They should be scared, the BoA is an absolute joke.

I think it's because all coins are losing value. Specifically, btc is not stable yet and is losing value as well. In a few weeks or months, the coins should have stabilized again.
Then, I think, ripple (but also XLM, TRX, IOTA, etc.) will rise again continuously. Do not look at the prices all the time, because that does not make a change.
Important is patience and that you HODL your coins now. Selling now would be a huge mistake, as you do not buy high and sell low.

I suppose we see such dumps only because the strong correlation between btc and other coins. We still perceive btc as a gold standard by which we can understand the priceof other coins. Maybe sometime the share of btc will decrease in total trading amount so we'll have more independent altcoins on the market.

Altcoins are depends of Bitcoin very much. Today Alts are dropping because BTC is dropping. As I can say by my experience - the best time for Alts - then BTC is not falling and not growing too fast.
In my opinion we will see Alts grow when BTC consolidate higher $11000.

It's ok. Almost all cryptomarket now is dipping. Two months ago whole cryptomarket grew so much. Now is correction.
Just be patient and everything will be fine ;)

Definitely hodl, if anything, I'm thinking of buying some other coins during this dip. :)

I'm not a big fan of the Ripple, because it's just a centralized token, so it's not worth investing so much money, and most of the tokens are concentrated in the hands of a few people.

Almost all alts are being paired with btc on exchanges so they are going to be affected by bitcoin movement. The problem is btc is not stable right now so the price will swing a lot, it's best to hold until we enter a bull market again. It's not only ripple that get affected so you don't have to worry about it.

Ripple is wolf in sheep's clothing. XRP is not a cryptocurrency. It is like a digital centralized asset. It is manipulated by the bankers which has the banking system on it, which is the counter part of the decentralized cryptocurrency.

Not going to happen a lot of people wont invest to the centralized coin like XRP,investors today are more wise they are doing a lot of research before investing to anything to prevent shitty coins,the market has gone bull run for a couple of weeks that is why it needs to rest so expect worst from now on,this is how the market flows and you need to adjust in any situation for you to survive.

Because Bitcoin dropped, we can't control the Crypto Market with our own hands but the real reason behind is when Bitcoin drops, then altcoins would follow because almost every altcoins are connected with Bitcoin even Ethereum and USDT are connected with Bitcoin.
Investors are getting enough profits that's they're gonna enjoy their profits while the others are still waiting for the market to recover.

It's not only Ripple is dropping but almost every Altcoin does.
If Ripple dropped when everything were pumping then that's the time your should be worried about because something really bad happened on Ripple.
When BitConnect dropped, no one are worried about except for the holders who are losing money due to their project failures and scams.
But this past days, seems the dropping as normal and we are all expecting that Bitcoin and the Crypto Market will soon recover.

All this is done by big whales. Also you shouldn't be tensed about such small time fluctuations. You should instead look at quarterly prices.

Altcoins dropping not all the time is in a high price. You should observe the price, charts instead of panicking of all your coins. Some also buy at all time high price for this case you can wait again to increase the price.

Ripple is suffering from late sales  meant Ripple lost the trend line it had been following since February 10 as XRP price steadied just above $1.This caused today’s dip, but as FX Street notes Ripple is not now trading near the bottom limits. negative news is  effect  of  falling  Ripple also.

On the 7d chart the price drop is so insignificant that it may be concidered as flat. I suggets that it hsppens because there is no big news from the top coins but bitcoin is recovering from the dips (+-10% per day) and people are simply trying to short by selling their alts for BTC to get some profits.

Just buy and hold, if this technology is threat to banks, ripple will be the one that go to the moon first. Declining and consolidating for a while is also normal.
